The Playbook is probably the most interesting thing RZA offers but, for me, it is still the most incomprehensible. I've been trying to figure how to use it even back in the AFSIM days.

I thought Admin's recent post with sample playbooks would help, but since I am unable to load them I'm still completely in the dark.

I used to think I was a bit , but apparently I'm aging into an anti-geek.

Any help in loading the sample playbooks would be appreciated. Maybe the will come on then.....

well, tried to copy them from the page using copy paste to an excell worksheet. then went to import rules and found excell file then upload. it says "you just tried to load an offense playbook etc" in green up the top bar...however, it is no where to be found.
mmmmmm...

You have to be careful:

if you want to import an offense playbook, you have to switch to an offense playbook first. Same for the defense. This is all the error is telling you!

It just says that i have tried to upload an offense playbook. and the playbook i did try to uplaod was offense. i tried both and defense, the same message..
firstly, i copy and paste your rulz and other rulz that another manager tried to help me with, onto excell spreadsheet. name the file.
done what you said and same messge occurs..all files i copied have a separate file. i am ok at this but there is something wrong..
but at the end of the day if it still no success, i wil enter them individually, in which i think might be the best case senario for me to familiarise the play book better: hence, make me a good manager of this wicked game!
