Okay, I'm starting to play with the defensive playbook. There are three things I'm not 100% clear on:
Defense formation pass Defense formation rush prefer Maybe I missed this is the manual, but how this works isn't clear. Does the defense essentially look at the offensive formation (plus down and distances etc.) and make an assumption that its a pass or rushing play based on the "prefer" parameter. It thus selects the associated defensive formation. What I'm a little confused about, is how does it s e l e c t the other defensive formation? If the defense assumes pass and it turns out to be a rush, does the defense have the option to switch formation? Based on what? Steve SD Blitz |

Still problem understand how defence work So i have an example Team A -> plays all the time Big-I Pass Team B -> setting on Big-I -> Pass: 3-4-4 Rush: 5-2 Prefer: Rush So what happens? At beginning Team B plays 5-2 i think because prefer Rush defend formation But if i understood right Team B will learn Team A always play Big-I with Pass and so they will change to Pass defend formation 3-4-4 Correct? And if correct -> when will it happen? So how many plays need Team B to learn Team A playing formation in this example? Correct, and a soon as the number of pass plays is more significant than the number of rush plays. in your example after 2 pass plays... |
