With only 3 rounds left, the fight for a playoff spot is coming closer. Here's a quick summary of the teams closest of getting a spot in the Admirals 2.2:
AC East Bengals Udine - With an impressive 12-0 the Italian team has already clinched the division. They're also ready for the divisional playoffs. SteelCurtain & packer23s both have 6-6. The team ending 2nd of these will probably end up in the playoff as well. AC North Flying donkeys - Another Italian team who has clinched the division with an impressive 11-1. The odds for two Italian teams looking forwars to a bye week in the playoffs of AC is pretty low atm. Constanta Ravens & South harbor, both with 5-7, needs at least 2 wins in the last 3 matches to reach play off. AC South San Fransisco 49'ers - Another team with the Italians in front and 2 italian teams are definetly ready for the divisonal playoffs! 8-4 and without a collapse tonight they're ready for wildcard playoffs. A bye weekend requires 3 wins and 3 losses of flying donkeys. I won't put money on that! Angry pigs and Houstonian texans, both at 6-6 are the teams closest behind. The best if these after the next 3 rounds are probably ready for play offs as well. AC West It looks like the last spot in the AC Wildcard playoff will go to Phoenix Firebirds with a 7-5 record. They can't be too confidient though. A series of 3 wins and the spartans (5-7) will come close! NC East 2 german teams in front and both will reach the wildcard play offs. The winner of the division will qualify directly for divisional playoffs. But who? Nuremberg Gladiators (11-1) is atm in front of Berlin Raptors in the most prestigeous fight for the division in Admirals 2.2 French New York Bulldogs (8-4) are the best 3rd placed team in the league. Any other division would've given them a wildcard playoff spot! NC North The only division where everyone can win! MisLinces (6-6) is in the lead atm ahead of bajen (5-7), Opponents Unknown (4-8) & Patrington Pitbulls (3-9). The winner will be ready for wildcard playoffs, runner up will probably only get some glory. NC South Csepel Pirates, the Hungarian team with an impressive 10-2 has clinched the division and are ready for divisional playoffs. Blindleia Vikings (6-6) has the possibility to reach wildcard playoffs, but they'll probably need at least 2 more wins. NC West Canopi Miners (8-4) needs 1 more win to reach wildcard playoffs. That should be enough to clinch the division as well. Rhine fighters & Dinamo Riga (both 6-6) could reach the playoffs as well. At least 2 wins are needed for the runner up I think. ADMIRALS 2.2 - POWER RANKING (after week 14)
1. Bengals Udine (13-0)The sun shines in Udine... Will they succeed where even Tom -G.O.A.T- failed? 2. Flying Donkeys (12-1)12 victory in a row. Italian teams are reigning on the league. 3. Berlin Raptors (11-2)The Berliners came back at the top of the NC East before the big games against the Gladiators. 4. Csepel Pirates (11-2)Now that the division is clinched, they'll try to win at Donkeys' home in order to skip the wildcard playoff. 5. Nuremberg Gladiators (11-2)The lost against the Bulldogs with a QB inspired by Romo on a bad day put pressure on the team with a tough schedule ahead. 6. San Francisco 49ers (9-4)Need 1 victory for reaching the playoffs. Just a matter of time. 7. New York Bulldogs (9-4)9-4 and only third of the division. Could you believe it? 8. Canopi Miners (9-4)Fourth Italian team to clinch a division? The miners dig again quietly through the playoffs after 2 hard weeks. 9. Blindleia Vikings (7-6)With 7 victories on the the last 8 games, the Vikings came from nowhere to fight for a Wildcard spot in the NC. 10. Phoenix Firebirds (8-5)The Americans won't let all the playoff spots to the other side of the Atlantic! 11. Packers 23s (7-6)A good finish will push their season further... 12. SteelCurtain (7-6)Last Wildcard spot for the British? 13. MisLinces (7-6)Bad second part of season but no one does better in NC North... 14. Dinamo Riga (7-6)Finally enjoyed a win after 5 straight losses. 15. Spartans (6-7)Need a perfect season ending to join the last 6 in AC. 16. Rhine Fighters (6-7)Maybe next year? 17. Constanta Ravens (5-8)A dramatic loss this week ended the set of victories but the Ravens do better week after week. 18. Zanzibar (5-8)They remembered how to win a game! 19. Angry Pigs (6-7)They're no more hungry for victory... 4 straight losses. 20. Houstonian Texans (6-7)This season is never ending? 21. Packer Repeat (5-8)They could end with an 8-8 if they upset the Firebirds next week. Want to bet? 22. bajen (5-8)See you next year. 23. South harbor (5-8)Tough schedule. On the road to a 5-11? 24. vvHardinxveld (5-8)Loss after loss... 25. Gran Canaria Sharks (3-10)Two straight wins... Deserve a better standing. 26.
