Nearly a season is done now and its have been a lot of fun.

And if you have fun time will just flew by,
But i think it have got a little bit to fast.

This with nearly 1 game every day, with this that its 2 game weeks for 1 real week is a little bit to much.
If you got lots of things to do you cant be in here that much.

Most of the things is fast to do, but not all, this draft-thing is 1.

Is im the only one that feels this way?

And no, its not a complain, and its not an suggestion to change anything, and i figure thats its not possible to change this and i do not ask for it,

Just curious if others also feel like this?
After all, this is the best game to play if you want American football management in the web.

No, it is the same for me. Even I have no idea how to change it without "awarding boring months" to most of the managers in offseason...

I think, if it is too much, just ignore the supercup or Friendly matches or Friendly cups...

The complexity of this game has increased a lot since I joined the beta-version, making it more time-consuming.
So far, it's still manageable for me, but with a lot of things that are being suggested, and some of them apparently being considered for implementation into the game, I wonder, when I will reach a point, where I say, that there are so many points and options to take care off, that I kind of have to give up to play competitive football with my team.

Make no mistake, I love this game as much as anybody, but with everything we add, the chance increases, that people will quit or never really join. And I don't want to play half a season or so against bot-teams.

It's quite a part of the problem. Sure, this is the most realistic US football managing game and it's very enjoyable to play thanks to the variety of decisions you have to take... Your way of managing is an essential point of your success. And yeah it's time consuming but I think that real fans wanted that! Just see all the suggestions!

However, football is quite a confidential game worldwide which is hard to understand at the beginning when your not American or real fan!!! And that's why there seems to be some turnovers on managers... They give up easily on the game density... But I hope the newbie guide will help them to handle the game and take pleasure in it! I hadn't time to make progress but hope to go again through it soon!

I like the pace.

At first it seemed very fast, but I realized I was comparing it to -TOG-and some others.

Once you sort your initial team out, set the depth chart, and spend a little time with the playbook (which was the hardest of all for me) there isn't a lot of daily maintenance.

You can scout opponents, or not.
You can adjust your playbook, or not.
You can shop for players, or not.
You can u p d a t e training, or not.

Now I probably spend as much time on the forum as I do actually managing my team.

I agree with TombKing's thoughtful post. Game design is a balancing act, and I think Admin has done a pretty good job of simulating the interesting parts of running a franchise while ignoring some of the not-so-fun parts. The game is fun. Too much realism (labor strikes and career ending injuries, anyone?) is less fun.

And let's not forget that Admin has been building this for a couple years and probably thinking about it for several more. Chances are pretty good he's already considered a lot of the ideas and suggestions here when he was deciding what goes in and what doesn't.

i am in the or not category for all of the above! still in the supercup and #1 seed for playoffs in my conference, all i do these days is keep my shop stocked, youth pull and youth academy. what takes time is getting a working playbook with no mistakes and setting my DC initially, il get round to changing some training soon maybe

i can deal with the pace but i rarely check the details of my games anymore i just look at the score and hope my teams in a green block and not a red 1
