If it is just a trade of players for cash then it isn't really a player trade. It is just the same thing as the transfer market. For it to be a player trade then it should be player for player, otherwise I see no reason to have this proposal.

Short note: offer and counter offer would make a player for player trade possible

I think the trade should always involve and exchange of players (+ cash bonus available). Otherwise, you have the transfert market... And as it has been said you could offer just money for a player but he would go at this price to the transfer market for XX days.

The initial idea was to allow transfers directly, without the risk of not getting what you like.

But I like the trade blog idea very much, you could tell there what positions you would like to trade...and we could have trades like 1 top QB for 3 YA-members and so on

Yes but as I said previously, it would be nice to have a trade fairness estimation by the game engine... Because it's hard to define by ourselves...

And I don't think you should trade YA because of limitation of promotion, and so on and that they are not really in your team

This is where it gets difficult. A "fairness" mechanism is difficult to have. Say you have 3 stud wr's and need a MLB really bad. I would trade 2 wr's like that for the MLB if that is all I needed to round out my team. Team need is VERY relative. The point of trades is to get all you can out of them to upgrade your team. It isn't often that a trade works equally for both teams in real life.

I'm ok with including youth players, but if you wanted them to be at least 18 (the age they can be promoted) then that would be good too. In those trades the player would go straight to your team, not the YA.

Let me add: the task for the reviewers is not to keep it fair based on value and money. Much more they should stop newbees from trading 5* talents for a crappy 33 years old OL with 5 blocking. They should stop trades where a RB is wanted, and the trader just reassigned the RB position on that mentioned OLer. And, they are a first instance to have an eye on pure cheating (double accounts trading between...

Agree with that but the estimation could be an help against cheating or a reviewer against a deal for personal advantage. I don't ask for a real value estimation, maybe just a color range with quite large range of fairness

A much simpler mechanism is to have a limit on the number of players that can be involved and an extreme age range limitation. IE, trading a 31 year old for an 18 year old.

This is a really hard task then...different values, based on position, age, career, needs, the league and the strength of the other teams, personal feeling of the owners and some more....not to talk about skills
