So I was wondering what minimums you guys shoot for in terms of speed and strength for different positions. What caused me to post this is that I have 3 players who all capped on this training and now I have to pause and consider if I keep them in their positions or if I should move them. BTW it was 2 OL guys who both capped at 40ish strength and a fb that capped at 36 speed. They are all high talent and otherwise fit in their positions.

QB= I have no idea.
RB= 40/40 min speed/strength
FB= 40/40 min speed/strength
WR= 40 min speed
TE= 45 min strength 35 min speed
OL= Guard min 45 strength, tackle min 40 strength, Center I'm not sure.
DL= DT 45 min strength de min 40/40
MLB= 35 speed 40 strength
OLB= 40 speed 35 strength
CB= same as wr
Saftey= I could be way off...SS 40 strength 35 speed FS 40 speed 35 strength.

Crazy?

No, looks good, I only want more spped for my WR and CB.
Problem is to get some with that kind of speed.

Just a hint: if you are playing formations very often with one FS on one side, and the SS on the other, I wouldn't limit the SS on speed 35!

Why does an OG need 45 strength and a OT only need 40?

I think those values have to be read that way.
If I have a OL with strength under 45 and over 40 and some speed he will become a OT.

I think cause DE are more often faster than stronger as an DT (depends on the defence you are playing).

Really? In my experience the tackles are the biggest/strongest linemen...

A guard has to Pull so he could not be that big, cause this limits his agility and speed. And i am still in the Opinion not to tall to keep any sightlanes open for the QB.

OT big and strong and around 2m, cause the normaly means you got long Arms too to keep the DE away from you. But in my opinion its not that simple anymore. If you see the modern Passrusher that dips his shoulder almost to the ground to make a move on the OT, those big old linemen have more an more problems with the speedguys.

Also it depends what typ of Offense you run, whitch kind of stance you want your Lineman to set in and so on...

Another not so easy thing to implement in a game

Please remember, that there is not hight and weight here.
So what happens?
I put my strongest DL in the middle, because most of them are not that fast and put the faster ones outside, which are most of the time not that strong.
OL only has to mirror this.

BUT .... anyone can play as they like.
If I have a speedy and strong OT? why not?

Sry i drifted into Reallife, had almost the same discussion last week watching the NFL with one of my former Players talking about where to put specific players.

IN RZA I just put fastest Oliner on Tackel to match the DE
