We all play also in the same conditions.

No NY, we don't play in the same conditions: some have developed a full stadium without the high pressure of the coach wages. Now this is pretty impossible to do in a season or less more. May be in 3-4 seasons, with good coaches, or in 2-3 seasons whith poor coaches that have been to substitute (at very high price) in a second time.
This is simply unfair.

No, it is not unfair!

Who told you have to have coaches? It is the managers choice - as everything in this game. The only thing that is mandatory here: patience.

We'll never be equal... The oldest have an edge over my team as I have an edge on the newbies... But they are also League 1.X and 2.X to allow victories to the newest and help them become competitive when they'll enter the "real deal"...

Just try to play smarter than others and you could do some upsets...

then dont buy coaches until you max your stadium, its just another development step that replaces the old coaches in the staff section that only needs implementing when you can afford it! remember there is a development site where all of this gets tested 1st with a very dedicated group of players who play with it 1st to make sure it works as planned a it wouldnt be happening if it wasnt thought through properly

Exactly Monkey - it you play the 'I want it all now!!' game, you'll end up with very little.

It's all about making the right choices at the right time.

It's easier now to get a max sized stadium than it has ever been, why? Because there are about 30 teams you can play in friendly games who already have maximum stadia! There were none when I started in October... it was harder for those who started in september though...

Nobody HAS to hire any coaches. I've done just fine with less than half the possible staff hired, a minimum youth academy, and very few facilities - and my stadium hit maximum earlier this week - it took about 12 weeks. So be patient, get the stadium sorted, get the financial grounding, and only THEN splash out on coaches - and mysteriously, they will not seem very expensive any more.

I think the wages are high to say the lest. I mean the coach at 50-60 should not be bringing in any more than 10 thousand a week. But the ones in 90+ for get it millions a week bang

From my understanding, Pete isn't saying the only way to be successful is to avoid buying players and only put your money into coaches. It seems 100% understandable that it isn't feasible to spend all your money on buying players and not leaving any of your income left to improve your stadium/fanshop/coaches etc

If it turns out that in a season or 2 everyone is finding things unsustainable with the wage structure (which I do not believe will happen) then I have no doubt that Pete will address things then and correct it for the better.

I like the coaches idea and am willing to see how it works out. I don't think it is meant to be the FINAL implementation as it has already been shown countless times that if a suggestion is made and helps improve the game then Pete is quick to implement it.

Missing one evening at RZA and such a long discussion to read.

I got the impression that some people think: Spending 12 Mio. for coaches each season = success. Having no coaches you are lost.

BUT: Nobody know until now, wich stragtegy will be the best and if it worth to spend millions for coaches.

It can be a good strategy to wait with the coaches and look which strategy will bring success.

It can be possible, that some managers "waste" millions for coaches for nothing. Same for expensive players. So see the "rich" managers as pioneer for you. The pioneers don't know what is wrong and what is right. For them it is learning by "Trial and Error".

The followers don't have to do all the mistakes. They can start with successful ways. So see it as an advantage for you, that you should not make the mistakes, that others did for you before.

Yes, I'm not trying to spend too much on coaches and will learn and adjust. Managers have so much money now (if you've got a big stadium), that they can throw lots of money at coaches until player salaries rise.

Are there 25 paydays for the coaches per season?

Dunno how many weeks there are in a season - but they get paid every update, same as players.
