That means that usually the 2 seed plays the 3 seed in the next round, and the 1 seed plays either the 4 or 5... The only time that doesn't happen is when the 6 seed beats the 3 seed instead, like what just happened. If that's the case, the 4/5 seed will play the 2 instead, and the 6 seed plays the 1 seed. Basically, the next opponent listed in the bracket SWITCHES when the 6 seed wins, but normally it's the other way around. So yeah, apparently the server had to catch up to that and apply the fix properly, because at first it showed what it would be by the normal method. It's correct now though. |
