Admin said once:
This is valid for all formations: rush middle: HBC, FBC, HBL, HBR, FBL, FBR rush left: HBL, FBL, HBC, FBC, HBR, FBR rush right: HBR, FBR, HBC, FBC, HBL, FBL So since there is no QB mentioned seems to be total random - so lets see what Admins say now on this - Thanks in advance for more clarification dear Admins! |

We had this discussion somewhere else.
My own QB has speed 48, but never rushes, so I asked admin (Pete) if there's a way to influence that. I don't think there's any rushing-type QB implemented/planned as of yet. Last edited on 2012-02-14 23:30:47 by Toni Gorilla |

I think I remember that topic you're mentioning and Pete said QB runs are completely random if I'm not mistaken.

An option in the playbook for running with the QB would be nice. Somethink like the blitzing option. 5%, 10% or 15 % that the QB run with the ball. So a QB, which cap low at strenght and with more speed, would have a higher value. Most managers search for a QB with high strenght and a QB with high speed has no value.

I'm not sure, but are QB runs designed runs (out of pre-assigned running plays) or are they the QB scrambling on broken down pass plays?
In real football you have these two very different situations: 1. Designed QB running plays like the Wildcat, Option or QB sneak. (similar to regular running plays, but the QB keeps the ball and doesn't hand off to an RB). 2. Scrambling plays which started out as pass plays, but pressure from the defense forces the QB to scramble to avoid a sack. Steve SD Blitz |

It is more a "surprise" by the QB, out of a normal rush situation, on normal formations...
