Just like to introduce myself .I`ve taken over the Aussie Patriots in Admirals 2.1 NC West , renaming the team The Springheel Jacks .
I see the history of this team has had a few owners but I,m here for the long haul guys . It must have been Divine Inspiration leading me to this site `cos I was worried about going `cold turkey` with the NFL season finishing .My only footie fix being with a buddy of mine playing Paydirt every couple of months .  Cheers and keep up the great work guys .

Welcome! I've played a lot of online football games in the past few years, and this one is definately the best I've seen. It may be a little overwelming at first with all of the details you can do to your team, but you'll catch on fairly quickly. Plus the people here are very helpful, so feel free to ask if you have any questions. Just remember to build your stadium up when you can.
By the way, great team name! I live in the US, but luckily I've heard about Springheel Jack on the radio from a British storyteller. Good stuff!

Welcome to the league!
All of the Admiral leagues are very challenging because of the high number of coaches compared to other leagues, so patience is key. But this game is very addicting, so it's worth some losses early on. Plus, playing against humans is more enjoyable than beating a bot 63-0 every game. There's some useful info in the Rookie Forum, and if you have questions, don't be afraid to ask. There are plenty of knowledgeable coaches here. Good luck, hope you enjoy the game! |

I don't think I've had so much fun with my clothes on since enrolling in RZA .I think I made the right choice by joining The Admirals League (just looking up at Div 1.1 can give me shivers , but you gotta compete with the best . ) . Yet you can learn so much off these 'Veterans ' , even after a tonking . " Work in progress , work in progress . " That's my motto .
My season has exceeded my expectations . In a couple of seasons my wish is to get promotion with a stronger squad and hopefully hold my own . I think I've learned that patience is a virtue here . Early Lessons learnt the razor34 impatient way ; 1 Hired too many coaches from the off . ( Astranomical wages ) 2 Purchased facilities I struggled to afford . ( Still got 2 that I've never used) 3 Bought some absolute donkeys on the TM ( Especially whilst employing a Level 1 Scout ) 4 Used HR mode and contracted a mediocre player on 10,000 pw cos I inserted a extra 0 ( Take care when playing DRUNK ) 5 I am losing a couple of my best players EOS cos I haggled too hard ( See excuse 4 )

welcome to the game and the admirals section. good choice even if its a tough one, very worthwhile.
better to make and learn from your mistakes early than regret having them still later on. |

Very much thinking long term here ...
Everyone is off looking for caps now and the stadium is up to 45k already so pretty much got the basics of a long term strategy. Advantage of a crap team is I should have a decent shot at getting who I want in the draft. |

I joined just befuore last draft an picked up 2 rb and a lb .My philosophy is the same ...long term project ....looking forward to the new draft , hopefully ge a lineman or two .
