I think it still has alot to do with the players skill sets and how they fit into the formation.

Also what the defence is expecting on the play. A 3-4 set to run would see some of the LB "shift" in their formations and change stance.

i dont like formations with only 3 DBs it means theres no SS and if it gets through your front 8 then your guaranteed to be giving up 10-20 yards

Well, all in all I guess it’s good to see all of the difference of opinions in regards to how to staff a defense. [Bill Parcells –v- Tom Landry ] Looks like this could be seen as a bright future for the game here as the game engine improves in the future. Just think lefty QB’s to go with world class speed WR’s against small fast LB’s hiding behind mammoth DL’s.

Of course, I lost my first game ever 80 to 3 with my DL failing to register a tackle. So about this playbook thing… lol
