How deep do you think each position should be on the dc? I was wondering because I have 52 guys on my dc and don't know if I am too deep in some areas.
Right now my dc is 2 @ QB 3 @RB 3 @ FB 3 @ TE 5 @ wr 3 @ OT 3 @ OG 2 @ OC 2 @ NT 4 @ DT (2 are also on NT) 4 @ DE 3 @ OLB 2 @ MLB 2 @ SS 2 @ FS 5 @ CB 2 @ KR 2 @ G 1 @ K 1 @ P |

if you sometimes play 3-3-5 you need 3 FS in your DC i think.
3-4-4 and 5-2 there should be 3 MLB in the DC. |

i have 5 MLB on the DC but this guys are on the OLB too, not all but some of them

I had a game recently where my 5th listed OC took a few snaps in the 3rd and 4th Quarters!
But there are two guys with low PC above him, so in reality it's more like 3rd on the DC

IMO deep charth shoul cover any possible formation, plus at leat one more player to cover in-game injuries. Of course OL and Dl shoul have a replacemement fotr every avalaible player. Considering that you can use a RB as KR, CB´s can play as Gand Kand P should replace themselves, my ideal deep charth should be:
2 QB 4 WR (have a 5th one should only be considered if you are the Saints) 3 RB 2 FB 3TE (one can play as backdraft WR) 10 OL 10 DL 3 MLB 4 OLB 4 CB (DIME is a failure 80% of time) 2 SS 2 FS (actually you can have one FS, one SS and one replacement) 1 KR (or 1 RB doing the job, or a KR+RB) 2 G ( i have 2 G+ 2 CB) 1 K 1 P |

My DC normally
2 QB 3 RB (3rd is KR too + a 4th RB) 2 FB 2 OC 4 OG 4 OT (1 is 3rd OC) 3 TE 5 WR 5 DT (NT 3 of them) 4 DE 3 MLB 4 OLB (1 is 4th MLB) 6 CB (5th y 6th G) 3 FS 2 SS 1 K (and 2nd P) 1 P (and 2nd K) Last edited on 2012-03-16 05:43:28 by Nestoro |
