Defense 4-3-4 (2FS)
der del dtr dtl mlb olbr olbl cbr cbl fsr fsl Since the 4-3-4 "standard" seems (in my experience) weak to passage route on sides, this little variant could give a further chance to counter tactics that rely on high number of WRs and continuous left/right pass actions. I see that it is a long time since additional tactics are discussed... I hope there is still margin for this kind of proposals. Last edited on 2018-06-23 12:29:35 by Yashin |

OK, still I don't think it would make a huge difference, since the SS acts kind of a FS in this formations once it comes to deeper passes.

Any chance that the 2 Pistol Offense formations (On page 13) and the 4-2-5 and 3-2-6 Defensive formations that Oakbark commented on (On page 14) will be introduced?

I often use 3-4-4 and I cannot remember a single tackle by the SS after a pass completion. My first string SS has 0 interceptions in 9 seasons (more than 5000 plays). Probably it's something about my team composition, but I never had the impression that SS had any active action when the opponent throws the ball. Last edited on 2018-06-28 19:19:53 by Yashin |
