I notice the Flex and Wishbone formations are 2WR/3RB formations. I'm wondering that since my HB'S and FB's have no catching skills, should I stay away or limit my team from passing out of those formations? If my backs stink at catching, that only leaves the 2 WR's with decent chance of a successful reception. Of course, I really have no idea how the game engine works, so I'm wondering if this idea makes sense at all? Thank you.

RBs do catch the ball not very often because they are not targeted very often and you can't s e l e c t RBs as dedicated targets also.
So don't worry. |

Since I can't field an AC on all positions - in my case I don't have a SF coach in my defense - I'm thinking of changing my younger SF's to the position of CB, and once they are trained up to an acceptable level, I would then change them back to SF. Of course I will be sure to not exceed maximum AC amount of supported position. Questions are: how long does it take for a players morale and team chemistry level to return to normal after a position switch? Do other managers use this type of training strategy? I imagine it could be used with FB/RB trainings and TE/WR trainings too. Any other thoughts on this subject would be appreciated too. Thanks.

That's how I train.
TC is based on games played. Chemistry 7.5 SC 5% League 2.5% friendly It's pretty fast if you time up switches vs bot SC games. If you have staff, morale will be 100% before TC. Not sure without staff because I do the medicine. Last edited on 2021-06-24 20:11:45 by pderekdactyl |

Train TE as OL for blocking and as WR for other skills and when I am satisfied with skills I reposition him to TE. Same thing for SF. For team chemistry look at manual to see how much he gains per game depending on what type of game you play. Morale goes up quicker, expecially if you win your games. Also you have facilities that makes both morale and team chemistry rise quicker but this isn't something that I will advice you to do just for player or two. That is more like after a big loss which affects whole team or when you change a coach and even team suffers or some positions suffer. Hope I helped |

I also do the position switch with WR-> TE, FB -> RB and SF->CB right now.
You lose 50% of TC, for moral I would not be too afraid, that does rise quickly, if you win and also on daily basis in addition. TC does rise slow at the start and the last few % you get fast, since (if I remember right) you get +10% per regular game, means, first from 50 -> 55, then 60-something and of cause when you are at 80-something you are almost done within a game. I do switch after last regular season game including playoffs or bowls, so sometimes I have a lot of friendlies before rollover + 1 week in new season, sometime only that 1 week in new season and then it hits me a few games at the start a bit heavier or not. |

So lets say I dump my TE assistant coach, change my 5 TE's to WR and train their catching from that position...but come game time, when I have those WR's playing as TE's, will there be any penalty on their game time performance because they are playing out of position?

Yes it will be. First of all why you need 5 TE's? 😀 Check what type of coaches have Elite league managers, so that would be a great guideline for you. You train him as WR or OL (for blocking). When numbers are high and you are ok with them switch that player to TE and continue with slow training. Till that time when he becomes TE he will suffer penalty for playing out of position. |

Most of my team is still the leftover team I received when I first joined RZA. I don't think I've had any TE's graduate from my Youth Academy yet, though at the end of this season I will be graduating two from my academy. The starters on my senior team aren't much but they're the best I got for now, they're in their mid 20's. I guess I should jettison or sell a few of them when my younger TE'S from my youth academy comes on line. It just takes time. So is that penalty for playing out of position severe, or somewhat minor? I guess these guys playing out of position for training reasons should be played on my "backup" team/depth chart, against opponents that aren't important or ones that I know I'm completely out matched. Then to use the regular, senior "starters"team/depth chart against important league games that I have a decent chance of winning?
