This is my second season ...

Taken advice on board and am going to cap players on str and sp before touching PC so not expecting anything - its just a development year.

Next season we aim to promote.

Just started, so no expectations for a few seasons. My goals are developing youngsters, drafting well, expanding stadium and maybe finding a gem or two on the market (and if a couple of wins com my way ill take it).

Good plan.

My advice would be to put all your money into stadium - not a penny elsewhere and make sure every player or at least every player aged under 27 is training 90% speed or strength (whichever is higher) till they red cap.

First season is just setting things up.

up to you - my take is its best to cap them first so you know where to play them and any training isn't going to be wasted - even with 90 % PC that's 10% carrying say on someone who may end up your punter.

Thats a good point. I doubt anyone on my current roster will start anywhere, in a few seasons.

I did get 3-4 players with ok numbers, except for age, which all are 28 or more.
So as said b4, its draft, TM and YA when economy is up and running.

I got a few OK players from my starting squad. They aren't draft standard but aren't bad. Note stats are now so they've had about half a season training.

Pick of them is a 21 year old with strength 40 (red) and speed at 41 uncapped so will be min 46 - going to use him at RB I think.

22 year old corner back who will have speed at least 47 and counting - no yellow.

49 Intelligence, 40 strength - 21 year old who I'm using at QB.

Nice LB who will cap speed at about 45 and has 48 intelligence.

Other than that, the better players are oldies.

Are you sure you haven't ... have you taken your young players to their caps ?

My corner now has 43.9 uncapped speed ... gonna be very close to 50.
