coming into week 8...
3 unbeaten teams - girona, malajorca and panthers 7 divisions with no "big time" leader (all except NC west) Amerifats @ Hangover Manatees bot. Essen Panther @ Kolin Walruses ill go with kolin here, essen seems to have hard time both on O and D. on the other hand, kolin seems pretty good passing the ball. Horadada Blues @ Girona Dragons good matchup here, dragons look strong on the paper, but tbh they havent faced strong opponents yet. anything can happen here, with a slight advantage for dragons. Les Mousquetaires @ Stuttgart Supernovas battle for the ac south leading spot. supernovas look to be a better team, so i can see winning this game, just like they did in the season opener. Mystic Warriors @ Zaragoza Maños sorry zaragoza, but there are only few teams that i give a chance vs mystic. after last weeks big loss you are definitely not on this list. prove me wrong 
Nebraska Cornhuskers @ Majalorca Pigs pigs all the way. sorry nebraska, seems like your schedule is pretty tough. Oldham Typhoons @ Toxic Robots bot. Pink Panthers @ Scarlet Scorpions hard game for scorpions, unlucky you have to play me. S F @ MALAKAS BULL game of the week? both teams are on their road to playoffs, both have to fight hard to win their division. ill go with sf, but i wouldnt risk my money here. Steely Phils @ FAJNY TIM phils are having hard time in 1.1, one of the few human controlled teams with PD below 0. stomped by fajny. Sthlm Eagles @ Comedy Gold Minors bot. Valhalla Pretorians @ The Northern Riviera one of the best ac teams vs team which doesnt look like having a winning season, pretorians by a big margin. Yurop Lions @ Mad Rabbitohs yurup should be better than 3-3, but had hard schedule so far. rabbitohs doesnt look like a well working team yet, so ill go with lions here, but the game wont be one sided. hope you enjoyed it, any feedback welcome  Last edited on 2012-06-09 22:18:54 by jodla |

I think you're underestimating Steely Phils. He's lost 4 games by 8 points or less.

I agree with almost all of those assessments except:
Zaragoza vs Mystic. I think that game is a complete toss up. Both teams are mirror images of each other. They are both passing teams with decent to good defenses. I beat both of them by 10 each. It will, I think, come down to who makes the most long passing touchdowns. Steely vs Fanjy Steely has had THE most difficult schedule so far. It is insane! So far they have played: Cornhuskers and lost 6-14 me and won 17-10 Zaragoza and lost 7-13 Malakas and lost 7-10 were blown out by Mystic Lost to Valhalla 0-7. So they have played arguably 5 of the top 10 teams in the league and go 1-4, but they lost by one score in 3 of those games. Fanjy is a great team, but I don't think it will be a blow out with the Steely Defense in place. Steely held me, Malakas, and Valhalla to our lowest scoring games in the league play this season. They held Zaragoza to their second lowest scoring game so far. This will be a close game and perhaps Fanjy's cries of he is going to lose may come true this time....lol I am curious how the Girona/Horada game will go. Girona hasn't played a single top team yet this season (the anti-steely schedule lol) and has comfortably glided through. Horada has played a mix of good and bad teams with varying results. Preseason I'd pick Horada and I think I'd stay with that, but who knows.... Did you know Girona has only 2 more games with teams with winning records the rest of the season? Crazy. |

Looks like Malakas is going to run over me the entire game. Apparently my guys forgot to bring their brains today as my great defense can't stop Malakas from picking up less than 10 yards at a time. Of course he is using the gimmick one sided system. I didn't change anything for this game. sigh.
