Really looking forward to some really interesting matchups this week.
There are some good Conference-rivalries going into the next round with Bretzfeld vs. Cottonmouth being the highlight IMHO. (But Pawn Stars vs. Bocian Squad could also be an interesting game, already showin' who are the playoff contenders in that Conference). Match of the week: Turtles vs. Blitzkrieg. Bowl-mode anyone? |

Turtles vs Blitz is the "Game of the Day" surely. But I also look forward to Bandits vs CM, Foxes vs Sheeps.

The Wildcats dropped a heartbreaker versus the Beers 34-26 but I have to say it was a lot closer than I expected. I see some holes in my defense (gave up a 51 yard TD run) and am working on making some playbook adjustments but at least this shows I can compete a little at this level. Nice game Beers!
Now if only I could win some better bidding wars... I missed a 3 star QB the other day because I had to leave for work 20 minutes before the auction ended and he sold for a paltry 13k!! AHHHHHHH!!  |

Orcs beat Blues in a blowout but found this kinda interesting as for the touchdowns,
Orcs first TD 37 yards pass, touchdown. Blues respond with 60 yards pass, touchdown. Not to be outdone Orcs respond with 70 yards pass, touchdown. Then Orcs get a fumble of 29 yards fumble return touchdown. So Blues get mad and 81 yards pass, touchdown. So Orcs pass again for 35 yards pass, touchdown. Finally Orcs do a short one! 16 yards pass, touchdown. And finish with 48 yards fumble return touchdown. Ref was taken to the Emergency Room after game for precautionary measures for exhaustion from running UP and DOWN the field. |
