Draft and new season just around the corner. Let´s get the (more or less) friendly trashtalking going here.
I would like to here your goals and expectations for this new season. Ill start with my own: Now that i have my economical situation in order, ill be focusing on shaping my roster. With prices the way they are on the TM, i find it paramount to draft well and find and develope good prospects in the YA, but there may be money for a TM buy or two. As for wins, looking at my upcoming opponents I am guessing i could get up to 12 W, but would be happy to go over .500. Playoffs? lets see. |

It will be difficult to condense the expectations for "my boys"
 , but during this second season as HC of Coyotes, I hope to finish the season with a winner record improving the secondary defense. And expand the stadium to 50,000 seats.
In the draft, I try to go for LB / SF / OL 
Still am trying to understand playbook better defensive and offensive. Any help ???

Ive come down from 1.1 and i intend to go back. I landed in a tough division so my team needs to play well, especially come playoffs. Trying to learn about my competetion i went over all the leagues teams and made a predraft rating (based on the overall %): AC east: 1. Raiders (1). 2. Heartaches (2). 3. Miguels Dolphins (18). 4. Kingz (bot). north: 1. Wretched (12) 2. Misfits (16) 3. Blazers (n) 3. leli99 (n) South: 1. Lostregos (3) 2. Eagles (5) 3. Coyotes (13) 4. Dragons (20) West: 1. Hamsters (10) 2. Allotmenteers (14) 3. Badgers (n) 3. Teck (n) NC East: 1. Steelcurtain (4) 2. Kings (8) 3. Icebirds (9) 4. Legends (n) North: 1. Patriots (15) 2. Biancheese (17) 3. Hanwurst (n) 3. Destiny (n) South: 1. Lunatics (7) 2. We finished with 12th best record but lost out on the play-offs last season so target this season is play-offs pure and simple.
Should be 2 horse race for our division with Allotmenteers but think we'll edge it. Long term plan going nicely. Happy with draft - drafting about 20th we got our 2nd, 3rd and 30th choices. |

Very simular to my draft you had there Mike. same positions and close to the same ratings as all your players were high on my board to.
Your roster is turning out nice i must say, very well rounded (perhaps with a few RBs missing and an upgrade or two on your O-line). But all in all im glad i wont have to face you till the playoffs. Good luck to all, and lets try and make people feel welcome so we dont have too many going bots. |

I've got a fairly specific plan with how I'm building my roster - its leaving a few gaps at the moment but should work out over time. With OL, I'm looking to mainly do this in house eventually as I've a 91% OL coach and OL will end up with high teamwork as you need it to play OL so I've avoided them in the draft so far. Might need to target a few players to play OT in the next draft as well. Board was nice to me as I wanted DL and it just so happened to be a loaded draft for that position. |

Finally. First game of the season is tonight.
Lets take a look at some interesting matchups in week 1: Dragons @ Patriots. If the Dragons manager was more active, this could be interesting with dragons ranked 20th and patriots 15th. As it stands i have no doubt the patriots will take this one. Lostregos @ Hamsters. Two very good teams will face each other here. Lostregos (3rd) are the favourites against the 10th ranked hamsters. I think the hamsters "poor" PC will be their downfall in the game. Both teams should make the playoffs though. Icebirds @ Kings. Kings (8th) play hosts to division rivals Icebirds (9th), in what should be a close match. Icebirds seems to have a strong offense, where as the kings have their strengh on the defensive side. I will give the kings the edge in this one due to their better PC, but this should be an interesting battle all season as both teams will struggle to take the division from steelcurtain. Raiders @ Heartaches. Number 1 at number 2, division rivalry = match of the week. I think the raiders are 60-40 favourites, as they hold the better run game. This could come down to a turnover or two. |

63-42 pretty pleased with that against a much higher ranked team. I know they had PC issues but I thought that was factored into the ratings.
If we can get 63 points there be interesting to see what we can do against the rookie Badgers. Moved a lot of players around for new season so have some short term TC issues and as players hit caps we will PC them so hoping to improve rapidly throughout season. |

How many teams go up ?
Is it the AFC and NFC winners go up automatically and the runners up in each have a play-off ? If so probably be between Raiders and Heartaches in the AFC. |
