My advice would be (in order - if you decide not to do 1 then every penny should go into 2 before anything else). Actually you should get going on number 5 straight away as well.

1. Sell a draft pick
2. Use the money to max the stadium
3. Max Youth Academy
4. Hire Coaches but read about them first to make sure you know how they work
5. Train every player aged 26 or below in strength and speed until they hit caps - don't give them a definitive position till you've done this. Train 10% vision/pos and 90% speed/strength

First of all, tks about your recommendations ...

Now, my comments ...

1. Sell a draft pick:
It apply for all teams ?? ...
In my team needs, the Wide Receivers are not priority ... so, i just don need one of them. Maybe if one is drafted, i can change him to CB or TE ...
Any comment ?

2. Use the money to max the stadium
Agree

3. Max Youth Academy
Agree

4. Hire Coaches but read about them first to make sure you know how they work
I got almost any coaches already, just FB is missing.

5. Train every player aged 26 or below in strength and speed until they hit caps - don't give them a definitive position till you've done this. Train 10% vision/pos and 90% speed/strength
You refer to YA Players, or every one ??

Selling a draftpick is an option. I personally wouldnt recomend it either, but its a way to get ahead financially (to max out stadium). Just dont do what i did when i started (at the end of season 2): I thought i should get coaches early, so i did. I ended up in minus and it cost me a draftpick (didnt sell a pick, it got taken from me). Had i known how i could have maxed out the stadium in less than a season, instead it took me more than 1½.

If you still dont believe this is the way to go, i can tell you a maxed out stadium brings in around 8 mill per league home game and 4 per supercup game.

Coaches are great but very expensive. My coaches currently cost me $1m every u p d a t e and my player salaries are just over $200k. I even waited until I had a maxed out stadium before I got the fan shop as the income here is neglible ($60k per day) compared to a full stadium.

Selling a draft pick is the best thing I ever did.

When you start the game ... the vast majority of teams are better than you and pulling away every week - they are making lots and lots more money , have better coaches so are getting better training, better academies. Every week all the established teams are pulling away from you. Fast. Very fast.

Whereas a new team has to scrimp and save to expand the stadium.

And for what ?

One player wont make a crap team a decent team - you can have a 70 man roster and dress 55 of them every game. I've got 8 draft picks in my team and most of my players are better than everyone else in a new team. One draft pick isn't going to change the fact a new team would be beaten 50-0 by an established team.

Bite the bullet and sell the player for about 100m - really isn't going to hurt you in the long run. Now you can max the stadium in one hit, getting a damn good training training programme in place and the game starts properly and you can think about putting plans in place to close the gap.

You can't stop teams pulling further and further ahead of you until you max the stadium so you should just go ahead and do it.

In my opinion natch.

This is why you shouldn't get coaches until you max your stadium. Wait till you have the money then you can do it properly and get a proper organised programme in place.

Then with a 91% coach in say LB you can have about 45 odd players (22 youth academy, 10 LB on DC and another 15 reserves not on DC) seeing their training go from 0.3 a week to 0.6.

And until you get this in place you are falling further behind ... hence why new teams should bite the bullet and just sell a draft pick.

A word of warning for any new players following this. Not every draftpick that goes to the market is sold for 100 mill. this is top players with great numbers. A 3rd round punter will not bring in this kind of money.
