A word of warning for any new players following this. Not every draftpick that goes to the market is sold for 100 mill. this is top players with great numbers. A 3rd round punter will not bring in this kind of money. although canonico will pay $23m for a kicker |

How long have you been playing, Mike? just curious, in order to better compare our teams. Think I've had 3 drafts now and joined just before the first of them ... |

So you started about a season later than me. I would say my early mistakes set me back about ½ a season. How do you compare our teams right now? and did you make any mistakes early on? |

Mike you started about a month earlier than me by the look of it. I think we all made mistakes early doors but its the magnitude and how you learn from them that counts |

2 Rookie Questions:
Fitness: What are your guys experiences about to what fitnesslevel you should keep players on the field before substituting them. I am experimenting with values between 70 and 80 and happen to have my 4th string QB on the field in parts of the second half About maxing the stadium: I thought i read somewhere that maxing over a certain number doenst make sense in lower leagues as there is a limit to how many people will attend a league game (i know that factor differs between league/Playoffs/cup etc.) Do you have a decent attendance with fully maxed stadiums? |

Fitness: i have mine set at 65%, without any good reason. Stadium: from the manual: The attendance on regular league games gets lowered based on your teams league level. Teams below the top division will earn about 15% less per league level below the top division. The attendance on regular league games gets lowered based on win/loss situation of the past 10 official games - including league and cups, but except friendly cups. Each loss in these 10 last games lowered the attendance by around 3%. * You can play friendlies on League game days (Tuesday, Saturday) if you are out of the competition or on a bye week or in the offseason. Those Friendlies don't cost Credits. Hint: The constructed seats are available on the completion/finish date. I read this its the prize on tickets that go down 15%, not attendance. |

Fitness:- Towards the end of my first season I found that I was competitive with better sides than me for about half a game then the subsitutions kicked in and I would struggle. I changed my settings so that positions like OL, DL, and LB did not change all game as I just didn't have the depth in those positions to compete with the top teams. I ended up winning my division and the wild card narrowly losing the Divisional playoff game to the #1 ranked team in my conference to a TD with 1:20 left on the clock in the 4th quarter. The PC hit was nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be either. Division 2 sides are limited to 85% stadium attendance for the league games but the benefit is that when playing in the supercup you will get close to 100%. With the new stadium condition rule I would probably limit my stadium to 100,000 while in division 2 so that I do not have to take that hit. |
