You have 1 hour before Game Time to set your Game Settings...but what about your Depth Chart or Playbook?
Seems like you can set those much later and have them still take effect. Steve SD Blitz |

This is kind of a gambling. We start the simulation 45 mins before kickoff. DC and playbook can be changed until the simulation starts. Each game runs about 15 secs to simulate. Now do the math by yourself
