Imho, its definitly ok to Start working on First YA lvls and hc/ac and even cheap TM deals once you have your Stadium and economy at a certain lvl (e.g. 50/70.000) however the Main focus should still be putting all possible into the Stadium .
But a lot of Top players think different... I had YA from Week One and Some Coaches also rather early ( hc 72 so no High rollers On coaching staff) |

Well imo you should build your stadium now, because i think investing in other things will slow you down.
But CarpeDMs strategy worked well for him i guess. Now he is in 1.1 and im still in 2.1. But i think i got much to late active at the TM.  |

Actually I have been quite surprised as well that i made it to 1.1 as i didnt expect this to happen until the very end.. My initial target for last season was to win our division against the big rival the wretched, who had similar starting day in the game but a better team that kicked our asses in two close games in the season before... its been a lot of factors resulting in my promotion, the biggest of them was luck as i didnt really expect to beat significantly stronger Lostregos in the playoffs . I also did some stupid mistakes on my way here like hiring a 3 star runningback asking for 100k a week by accident (franchise contract by owner before and 200% payraise when i got him) or investing in too many training facilities too early. After all i believe there is no perfect strategy to make your rise to the top as many strategies work.Everybody should try finding their own way to get to glory. And even making smaller mistakes doesnt effect a teams path too much if you only make em too often. |

Well i think the best strategy its to be fun about the game ... Obviously nobody likes a losing season ... But if you make a nice draft, increase your stadium capacity and use wisely your youth academy slots i think you will be fun and winning ...

Ill wait another round with my power ranking, and its still too early to say anything for sure, but a few teams are starting to show potential and competitiveness, and others perhaps the opposite.

Power Ranking admirals 2.1 week 4, season 8:
I´ll do this by division and give my 12 PO teams for ATM. ACE: It still looks to be between spanish raiders and the ice-landic/picks. Ws will come to the errors and devils, so keep fighting. ACN: Undefeated wretched took down the repeaters, and claimed top spot in the division and this ranking. I have my doubts as to who will take it in the end, in a tough division. ACS: Trouble is still brewing for lostregos and eagles. ATM its a 3 team race, but no one is out of it yet. ACW: We lost the eagles last night (i think), And my Yoyos dropped one to the Badgers. Im still on top, but will have to put in more work it seems. The sexy knight is starting to get some Ws. The 6 PO teams from the AC could/should/looks to be: Icepicks, Repeaters, Coyotes and Yoyos as DWs and Wretched and Lostregos for the WC spots. Badgers, the CCs, GM packers and (spanish) raiders all have shots at spots, but this is how i read it ATM. NCE: The rhinos took top stop with their week 1 win (try to say that fast 3 times) over the curtains. last 2 teams are better than their record. NCN: No changes to my preseason ranking. (Pats, Wombats, legends) NCS: Big surprise as the polish bisons have taken top spot for now. The lunatics are the only challengers ATM. Are the icebirds tanking? NCW: Belongs to the vipers. Hungarian pros hold 2nd spot. The NC PO teams: DW: Rhinos, Pats, Bisons and Vipers. WC: Curtains and Lunatics. I need to see more from wombats to include them in the PO talk. Thats it for now. I really hope you disagree... |

I have too many too close wins this season. My offense is a bit weak. But a win is a win and its still early in the season. |
