I think you're right. He had a very good win against the Highlanders, going to be hard to catch him now.

Great win for me today. Head to head twice against oneknee will be very hard, but I might be able to grab a wildcard spot as 2nd in division.
Most impressive win this round was Alphaville though.

Yes great win for Alphaville. Some tough games for both of us still to play but I have a feeling you will finish higher than you think.

I was planning to wait 2 more rounds before I did my thoughts on the league, but since it's the Norwegian National day tomorrow, and I've tested some akevitt, it seems like it's the right time. Even though akevitt and writing in a foreign language isn't the best combo. So here it goes:

AC East
Maracaibo BlackOils(7-1): Relegated from 1.1 last season, and the best team in the conference. Will get a bye.
SuonioweNogi(5-3): League champions 3.3 in S6, wildcard last year. Aiming for that this year as well. Looks like one of three contenders for two spots atm.
Devon Dog Soldiers(4-3): Conference champions in 3.4 last season. Will have a hard fight with SuonioweNogi for the runner up position in the division, which could give them a wildcard.
Buckland Custodians(4-4): AC East is a tough division and Custodians is a team even with Soldiers and Nogi. Will they be able to get a wildcard like last year, or will it end with no wildcard for AC East?
AC North
Blindleia Norsemen(6-2): Currently leading the division, but Phalanx is a better team, and they've got 2 head to head matches left. Wildcard is a possibility.
Phalanx(5-2): conference champions S6, divisional playoffs last year, and by far the best team in the division. Will win the division.
SS SpeedLites(1-6): Won their 3.4 division last season. Struggling in the league now. Is the franchise moving?
Spartans(1-7): Won 3.1 AC North last year. (I need some more akevitt, it's not possible to move from 3.1 to 2.2 in the Norwegian translation of the manual?!!) Struggling this year. But the team is improving and won the last league match, so relegation should easily be avoided.
AC South
Watertown Buffalos(7-0): The results speaks for themselves. Been in the playoffs since S2. Conference champions S6, and relegated from 1.1 last season. Will get a bye.
Chimaira(3-4): 9-7 last and was expected to get a wildcard spot by all experts who publiced their thoughts in the beginning of the season (that's me) Still within reach, but got to win close matches.
St. Augustine Conqistadores(3-4): Won 3.4 NCSouth last year. Tough schedule this year, so playoffs will be hard to reach, but will have no problem avoiding relegation. Unless the franchise is on the move?
Tennessee Bootleggers(0-7): Franchise is moving.
AC West
HawksJungle(5-2): Been in the playoffs the last 3 seasons, and will probably win the divison again. Thougher competion this year, but a wildcard seems secured.
Odessa Titans(5-2): League champions 3.4 last year. Impressive start, and won a close match against division contenders HawksJungle at home. Could surpringsly win the division, and the odds for getting a wildcard are getting lower each round.
Legendary Lords(3-4): Decent team who won the division in S6. Slw start this year.
Galloping Ghosts(3-4): Relatively new team building for the future. Relegation will be avoided easily.

NC East
West Lothian Highlanders(5-2): My bet is on Highlanders as division winners.
New York Icebirds(4-3):
Decent team. Will hey be able to get a wildcard?
Up North Lynx(3-5): Won 3.3 AC North last year. Will the Lynx get a boost by being Norwegian and reach the playoffs? I'm afraid not.
Taissy Foot Team(2-5): Won 3.2 NC South last year. I'm not going to comment that, but relegation will be avoided.
NC North
Tribal Hydra(7-0): As a Norwegian team I'm happy to be in a North division. I'm very happy not to be in NC North though. Hydra was relegated last year after two seasons in 1.1 and will win the division.
Kinaportalen Flyers(5-2): Flyers was relegated last year after four seasons in 1.1 and will get a wildcard this year.
Red Devils(1-6): Must focus on avoiding relegation this year. Totally different division next season?
Brighton Fallen Angels(0-8): Franchise is looking for new ownership.
NC South
BONEBRUISERS(4-3): Won the division last year. Great team with not so great results this season. Next match against RedBerets is crucial.
RedBerets(3-5): Great team, that can't be happy with the results so far. We'll probably see only one of two 50+ teams in the playoffs from this division.
-TOG- Gods(1-6): Very tough schedule so far. Will avoid relegation.
Valley Mustangs(0-7): Looking for new ownership.
NC West
Alphaville(8-0): Great team, unbeaten. Will get a bye.
Mengede Mechs(6-1): League champions 3.4 S6, playoffs last year, and will get a wildcard this season as well.
BeWare(4-4): Decent team, 5th season in the division. Will they be able to reach 10-6 again?
Clibanarius Tricolori(2-5): League champions 3.3 last year (Arrgh!) Now looking for a new owner?
