Did not see a thread for our league, so thought I would start one. New to the game and I am finding that I am probably spending far too much time on it, but am enjoying it.

I'm in Admirals 3.3 ... I imagine there isn't a lot of discussion with the 3 leagues because we're all basically just building up the teams from scratch. I'm not even worried about being competitive yet, just building the stadium, trying out different playbooks & formations, and personnel packages. This game definitely isn't for people who lack patience ...

I think it's going to be an interesting battle in your conference. There are a lot more good teams over there than on my side. Not to toot my own whistle, but I'm not really worried about making it to the bowl game. It's who I'm going to face when I get there that worries me. And it's probably going to be you! Definetely not on purpose, I was shooting for the finals for sure. I did not start that long ago either, in April I think it was. I think the Lord's Angels are the team to beat, but should be interesting. You have pulled off two upsets in the playoffs so well done.
My goal this year was to get 9 regular season wins, so I surpassed that greatly. My team could not run on your's for some reason, despite having the top 3 rushers during the regular season, so kind of odd. Looks like you used the 5-3-3 for most of the time, which would slow down the run. Really, neither of our teams were impressive offensively, 4 long td passes accounted for most of the scoring. I knew I should have went a bit more to the pass in my playbook, but was hesistant to change it up since I was 16-0 in regular season. Good luck the rest of the way. |

Curious as well if you used match of the year? Not sure how much of a difference that makes, I have read some people say that their team really shits the bed in that mode. Have not used it myself.

No, I did normal. I don't think you have the option to do MOTS in the playoffs. At least, I can't do it for my next game. Normal and Relaxed are the only choices.
