I've noticed lately (past week or two?) if I open a tab, the time and date is correct, but if I leave a tab open for a few minutes/hours/etc, when I come back to it the clock is behind proportionately to how long it's been open.
For instance:  Source: http://i.imgur.com/V8NTOy3.png Help? I've heard recently that stable builds of Chrome are unloading pages from memory after some inactivity, but I'm not sure if that has to do with this. Thanks! |

I never noticed this before, but you are right.
Chrome: Clock is in sync initially, but starts lagging, after a few minutes it was at a second difference. Opera: Clock lagged 1 second from the get go, was at almost 2 seconds within a few minutes IE: Clock lagged 4 seconds from the get go, didn't see an increase in 5 minutes though. Note: Opera and IE not on the latest versions. |

That is nothing I can fix. We start the page displayed in the browser with an initial time value, which is correct, and then it is on the browser aka Desktop to u p d a t e the clock every 1000 millisecs. If there is some time, I will think about doing this on the server side, but I really dislike to cause such traffic...for a clock.
