Hello there. I like the current substitutions system.
But I would like it to be a little bit more advanced. Here is an easy example: I have 8 equally good OL and LB players and would like to rotate them from the start, therefore I would tic "Based on Fitness / Energy only". The rest of my team has got much better starters than substitutes, and I would like my starters to play at least the first half, therefore I would tic something like "until quarter 3 starts". Dilemma. I can only press either the one or the other button. I would rather like to set up each position individually. Is that possible? |

Adding the option "set positions individually" besides the current "how to handle substitutions" choices.
Advances set up would look like this: QB - x "based on energy fitness only" x "don't substitute until X quarter starts" WR- x "based on energy fitness only" x "don't substitute until X quarter starts" HB - x "based on erergy fitness only" x "don't substitute until X quarter starts" etc. Last edited on 2012-12-23 22:34:02 by Toni Gorilla |

I am all for this in terms of the basic concept.
But the present options are almost useless imo. You can either have a player in the rotation - or not. The only way to spell your "starters" is to not allow subs until the 4th qtr which introduces the hilarious situation of playing the business end of a game with backups. We need a practical way to spell starters in the middle of games. And then we can talk about it being position specific. ![]() |
