pete, I am only talking about games played between div 1 teams.
So in any given season, you could look at all the SC and CofC matches played between div 1 teams (no bots) and tally up the win/loss totals as outlined in my OP. |

We can't judge leagues unless we go from top to bottom. Sure, we might be able to say 'x team is the best in the land', but I would like to see some interleague play just to settle the score. Can we get that in our league schedules? Might make things more interesting across the board.

Yes, but better than nothing. And since it's SC and CofC it would be mostly the better teams being compared. Most of the SC comparisons would come from the playoffs. |

I had a review on the needed query, and found an amazing result
Source: http://s14.directupload.net/images/140114/kktrxk2k.png What it does: Build the average of all overall-matchratings per team, ignore bots, sum it up to the region, for season 10. Galaxy rules Yes, not exactly what others had in mind, and for sure not reliable Last edited on 2014-01-14 21:36:10 by pete |

Yeah, that is kind of interesting. Probably mostly represents where the most oldest teams are and most highly paid coaches!
It doesn't tell us how good the managers are at utilising that talent however. |

Yeah. I guess the first thing needed would be a div 1 tag on every div 1 team for that particular season, ditto for what league - probably too much of a database hassle.
