Another unimpressive win for the Ducks. Well fought Ravencorp. The revenge will be interesting.

I interrupt your ridiculous feeding of the trolls to bring you a quarterly season ranking! Let's start with answering some questions that make sense!

"A couple big surprises so far, and that's Steve's broken Blitz and the Yorkies both starting 0-2."

The fighting Steve's have recovered, the Yorkies have not.

So far Monarchs have only lost 1 non-division game, Claymore has only won 1. A lot of this has to do with how many division games teams started the season off with as Claymore have already played each rival.

Do we have a team or player passing yard record in Elite? The Historians are looking to break it.

In our weekly Buzi health watch: Buzi is looking very tan after all his winnings paid for a very nice vacation.

Rank. (last season's record) (Previous elite rank)

1. (4-0) The Alpin Ducks (1)
Kanar still not happy with his performance, but still undefeated. He probably should be less concerned with getting scorigamis which is clearly damaging his (and everyone's) team.

2. (4-0) Willemstad Bridges (2)
The Bridges have that one Monarch defeat on their resume in what looks to be another light jog through a Thunder division.

3. (4-0) TigerCats (4)
Ticats get a last minute TD to complete the comeback and keep the lead in Fire. I don't think there's a team rooting harder for the Yorkies to keep losing than skeetz is.

4. (2-1) Flaccid Malones (3) Big Soft Loser
Used the early bye week to do his own research on homemade blue pills. I expect the Malones to have a firm grasp for the next few weeks.

5. (3-1) PR Chaser (6)
Chaser recovers from his loss with two huge wins to gain the #2 spot in PD. Those will be important to see who wins the division, can't imagine it will matter for WC spots though.

6. (4-0) Space Kraken (8)
The Kraken has at least secured a split with the rivals they were hoping for and currently lead in PD. The Bridges on Tuesday will likely end their streak. Buzi should definitely bet against me that week.

7. (3-1) Salt City Pirates (5)
Pirates take one on the chin from the rival Kraken. Probably what they wanted if the plan is to get relegated. Can't imagine anyone wants to see this team come playoff time. Other than the Malones who is dying for a champion to get relegated.

8. (2-2) AS Roma Wolves (9)
Scratobones should feel pretty good after showing he can compete with the best after back to back games against the last season's 1 seeds.

9. (4-0) Zygal Coda (12)
The defense has been very impressive, giving the offense just enough to get big wins against the Elephants and Bobbers. Tuesday's game against GnR will complete the sweep or have them fall back into the pack.

10. (2-2) San Diego Blitz (10)
The Blitz recovered from their rough start with back to back division wins and find themselves back in first place. Gets two contenders this week with Vaxjo Saturday and a rematch against the upstart Oilers.

11. (3-1) Chelt Nam Bobbers (11)
"We'll find out tomorrow if Dissolve's triple branded Zyggy's are a real threat." Turns out they are and Jonny can't reclaim his throne just yet. He's got 6 straight games against playoff hopefuls. Could be a very exciting finish in Dragons with 3 teams battling it out.

12. (3-1) Stone Mountain Hawks 2 (25)
This week's biggest jumper with a demolition of the Lions and a win against the defending champs. Circle your Stone Mountain calendars! Next Saturday against Chaser is their second big AC test.

13. (2-2) Raven Loonies (15)
"They need strong performances in the next 3 before hitting the Ducks twice, dumba, and GnR for a rough middle stretch." I don't how much stronger than 76 points you can get. They got the first two and a nice PD. Zyggys are Saturday before the off week.

14. (0-4) Peoples Republic of Yorkshire (7)
"They get the other 2 division rivals to set that record straight. Being 0-3 against the division is probably not where you want to start the season."
I don't think anyone is counting them out yet, but they definitely need to come back from their championship vacation.

15. (1-2) Dumbarajko Elephants (13)
I hope Dumba got his work in over the bye week because this week he plays both of the championship participants. A 1-4 start would be quite the hole to climb out of if he still has playoff aspirations.

16. (2-2) Växjö Vikings AFC (14)
"We'll really get to see how serious they are with Kraken, Ducks, and Blitz the next 3." Losing the first 2 of that stretch wasn't ideal. They'll have to pick up a couple hard wins along the way if they want to challenge for the playoffs.

17. (2-2) BoneCrushers (16)
"Chaser and Ticats this week will show how close he is to contending in Fire." A tale of 2 Bonedomers in these games. Against Chaser they didn't bother to show up, but lost a heartbreaker vs the Ticats. As we thought, they are close, but not quite close enough. 6 seed is still a possibility.

18. (2-1) Guns&Roses (18)
GnR finds themselves in quite the divisional battle to start the season. The perfect remedy for that is a pair of Dolphins. They get Tuesday off before 5 straight games against contenders. Ticats, Zyggys, Vaxjo, Ravens, and capping it with the Bobbers.

19. (2-2) Diorite Lions (17)
The Lions are 2-1 in the division after a huge last drive win over the Wildcats. They get Saturday off before a date against Chaser. They'll need a good showing as they are already trailing in PD by a large amount.

20. (2-2) Highland Wildcats (19)
"They'll need more consistency with the Yorkies and Lions up next." Well, we didn't get consistency at all. Huge win against the Yorkies followed by a last minute loss to the Lions. They have this weekend off to prepare for a couple winnable games.

21. (2-1) Bracciano Lakers (20)
Bridges tomorrow are an early gauge. Can the Lakers compete with the top of the AC? At least it's early and Yashin will have time to change it up if needed.

22. (3-1) Trois-Rivieres Oilers (23)
The Oilers got a miraculous comeback against the Heroes to keep pace in Monarchs. They get the renamed Puppies tomorrow and a rematch against the Blitz Tuesday. It can't possibly go worse than this week's game right?

23. (2-2) Norfolk Heroes (21)
The Heroes suffered a crazy loss on a last second long pass. They'll need to make that one up if they want to snag the 6 seed. Beating the Malones tomorrow would be quite the coup.

24. (1-3) Ralph's Warriors (24)
All 4 Ralph games have been 1 score games. This team could easily be 3-1 instead of 1-3. They need a sweep this week with the Historians and Runners coming up. If they lose either they might as well start scouting D1.

25. (0-4) Social Distance Runners (26)
"I'm going to do my best to make him lose at least 1 fingertip." I did my part! Buzi nailed nearly everything else. His time off from gambling has really enhanced his skills.... He's due!

26. (1-3) Gettysburg Historians (27)
Holy crap does this team chuck. Like, a lot. They already have 200 more yards passing than the #2 team... they also have twice as many interceptions. Live by the bomb, die by the bomb.

27. (1-3) Mongolian Prairie Weasels 2 (31)
The Weasels have really upped their game last week. They beat the Bush and had a shot at the Blitz fall short. Can they keep this improvement up? The Elephants next Saturday will determine if they are close enough.

28. (1-3) The Raspberry Bush (22)
The Bush came in roaring but it has been silenced since. They can get back on track against the Dolphins but then it's Ducks and squid after that. It's not too late to turn it around, but they'll need to sweep the division to make it happen.

29. (0-4) Istanbul Whitings (28)
Held their own until an interception and consecutive long Bridges drives put it away. Is there enough in this team to catch the Heroes? An upset win against the upstart Hawks would validate that before the Heroes showdown on Tuesday.

30. (0-4) Kalapana Wild Thangs (29)
I feel like the newly named Puppies shouldn't be in a house of pain. Maybe a house of fluff? House of treats? House of fetch?

31. (0-4) Cargese Dolphins (30)
Back to back fish rounding out the rankings. This one has looked more competitive this week after a respectable loss to the Ticats and a 1 score loss to the Zyggys. They get the Bush tomorrow in the hopes of their first win.

32. (0-4) Aberthaw Dolphins (32)
The fish raced out to a 13-0 lead which included their first offensive TD. Unfortunately they decided the rest of the game was optional.

Good luck tomorrow!
