My younger QB is not a reserve, he is my next starter and he showed his numbers on the field yesterday evening.
When you are down, bad luck happens always and we played a whole drive with random QBs, waiting for Sabino to recover from his ankle injury.
Lakers always shine when under pressure and we have extracted a rabbit from the hat with a rookie TE, learning to block among OLs, that throws a lightning that magically dispelled bad omens.
The defense gave proof of being an Elite unit with 3 INT... and we are still on the train.
Games ahead are horrible, but everything can happen if we believe...

Dumbarajko´s preview let me hope to win 3rd game in a row in Elite League. But will leave this league by the end of this season anyway.

Apparently it's my fault Kanar is taking a break. Both seasons we've opened the season playing eachother he's decided he needs time away. My apologies to everyone who has enjoyed his commentary, humor, and his skills as a good natured human. (Especially for being French!)

Let's answer some questions!

"Will Chaser make it or will the AC champ continue the AC champ relegation curse?" He'll be fine. He righted the ship and the competition for WC spots is only a few teams deep.

"Who's the big surprise of the first half?" I think I still gotta go with the 4-5 Chosenones. They've beaten good teams and more importantly haven't lost to any bad ones.

"Will the Bridges lose a game?" To quote sfniner, "lol"

Have the Towncars fixed their playbook?" With 3 losses in a row, they might need to fix it again.

"Who's going to win Admirals?" Gotta be the Wolves. Picked up 2 wins while Magpies and Chosenones lost to open up some breathing room.

"Is this the season the Bobbers' Elite streak ends?" No one wants to win this division. I think they still finish top 2 to keep the streak alive.

How about a couple new ones? What is going to happen in Monarchs?! Three teams at 7-2 could make for a very messy last few games. How does that affect the NC? Can Galaxy sneak a WC spot while the Monarchs beat eachother up?

Monarchs have 22 wins, Claymore 21, Fire 20.

Nothing quite like a good . Talk about them going undefeated, lose right away. They'd need to lose 2 more to drop out of the 1 seed.

2. (7-2) Cheese Modelones (4)
"The nacho team gets a revenge shot at the Kraken Saturday to keep them from swimming too far ahead." A game that was never in doubt, Malones D easily sent the squid back into space. Malones now look to Monday's supercup game as the first of 3 Letaiden games in a 3 week span.

3. (7-2) Space Kraken (2)
"Saturday's Malones grudge match featuring the #2 and #3 scoring offenses" Well, one offense showed up, and it wasn't the one with tentacles. More unlucky breaks for Kraken scheduling as they started with the Ducks full strength team and play the Bulls before they go bot while their division rivals get them later. PD is really important in this division race.

4. (7-2) TigerCats (5)
Possible 2nd round matchup Saturday as the Ticats travel to the Czech Republic in a Cats vs. Dogs affair. Ticats keep the winning ways and that 2 game lead over Chaser.

5. (6-3) San Diego Blitz (3)
"Hopefully for the rest of us the Dumba/Blitz game to end the season means something this time!" Can't imagine it won't now as the Blitz fall to the attractive undead. Dusty was distracted by their curves and threw the game away in an unexpected finish.

6. (7-2) Stone Mountain Hawks 2 (7)
Still need to wait 2 more weeks until they play a meaningful game, but it may be important to note the Wildcats have beaten them twice this season already.

7. (7-2) Letaidans (8)
We'll see if the Letaidens are prepared for the undead seduction as the upset minded Zombaes are up Saturday. Then it's the Malones on the 16th, 24th, and June 4th to end the season.

8. (7-2) Dumbarajko Elephants (9)
"Big game for Dumba Saturday as he draw the bad luck schedule vs the Ducks." If it wasn't me that killed Kanar, then it was this loss being the straw that broke the Duck's back. 4 in a row has Dumba on top of the Galaxy. It seems if he can split against Steve the division is his with that current PD difference.

9. (6-3) Highland Wildcats (10)
Two intriguing games his week vs the Lakers and the stock brokers. Both teams 4-5 and fighting relegation. It could be a trap!

10. (5-4) PR Chaser (11)
Back in the top 10,might not have the impressive record, but that big PD will certainly come in handy come playoff time. Dynamos to solidify Elite status followed by Zombaes this week.

11. (6-3) AS Roma Wolves (12)
"Creating that advantage continues Saturday as they play the upstart Chosenones for the first time ever." They held off a furious comeback and got that important win creating a 2 game advantage in the division. They'll need it as they face the Ticats and Bridges this week.

12. (5-4) Sydney Rising Stars (16)
A big win against the Heroes gets the Stars a PD advantage over the Wildcats. (Who they already beat this season.) They play them again next Saturday for second place.

13. (5-4) Växjö Vikings AFC (13)
With Kanar pulling himself out of the race it looks like Vaxjo will retain his Sea Devil crown. As a reward to Kanar for putting that faith in them, they knocked off the previously unbeaten Bridges.

14. (5-4) Pinellas Pikes (17)
"Tuesday is important if they want to keep this lead and deal a big blow to the reigning Dragon king." Instead they deal a big blow to themselves as the coaches forgot how to coach over the bye week. They'll need the correct depth chart if they want to beat the Stars Saturday.

15. (4-5) Bobboy Magpies (14)
3 losses in a row has the Magpies hanging on by the PD they beat the Chosenones by. If they lose the rematch to end the season, they might be headed back to D1.

16. (5-4) Maykop Dynamos (15)
"This has got to be the surprise of the first half right?" Not as big a surprise as losing to the Hololivers and giving up that advantage that was definitely needed. Win against Chaser saturday or plan the relegation party.

17. (4-5) ChosenOnes (18)
"Maybe this is the first half surprise team?" Praise a team, they lose both games for the week. To be fair, both losses were expected and one they nearly came back to win. We'll see how they do against the top AC team in the Bridges.

18. (4-5) Norfolk Heroes (19)
Losers in 4 of the last 5 games has the Heroes on the outside looking in. Only a game behind, but there's 4 teams ahead of them for that last spot and a schedule that still includes the Ticats and Bridges.

19. (3-6) Chelt Nam Bobbers (21)
The importance of that Pikes game cannot be understated. A huge win against the division leader allows them to narrow the gap to a game away from relegation and gets them back in the PD race. The hits keep on coming with Dissolve on the docket for Saturday.

20. (4-5) Bracciano Lakers (23)
Lakers get back in it with 2 nice wins, but Wildcats and Malones this week look to push them out of the Admirals race.

21. (4-5) Long Term Capital Management(22)
Beat the Bulls, lost to the Bears. If you haven't liquidated your portfolio yet then this is the obvious sign to do so.

22. (4-5) Mystics (24)
What week for the Mystics. Go from likely relegation, to competing for the playoffs as the Ducks retire mid game and Vaxjo gets bested by the Blue and White. Now a repeat Elite performance is Johnnys to lose.

23. (3-6) Zombaes (25)
"This team is so incredibly bad in the second half it's amazing." They must read my write ups, as they decided to switch it up last game scoring 14 in the second half to beat Steve. The problem is they chose to score 0 in the first half instead. Offense is clearly limited to playing just 30 minutes of football.

24. (3-6) Lincoln Towncars (20)
Nearly upset the best team in the league. Follow that up with 2 blowouts against Fire rivals. They'll be fine, just not this season.

25. (4-5) Alert Polar Bears (26)
"Will they be able to start closing out those tight games before they run out of time?" Who needs tight wins when you can win by a couple TDs instead? This week looks to be a little tougher with Vaxjo and the Kraken coming to Canada.

26. (5-4) The Alpin Ducks (6)
Kanar has decided to relax and reload. His fire sale is sure to bring in a ton of money to a team that already had plenty of money. Other Sea Devil teams are happy to have an Elite slot open up, but no one is happy to have his consistent and engaging contributions put on hold. I doubt he'll stay away too long. We're addicting. 27. (3-6) Chuuou Hololivers (28)
"Simply playing spoiler at this point. I think they'll get another surprise win on the season." A wild comeback win over Maykop getting an interception on the 5 to end the game. I didn't expect that surprise win to come so quickly, so I'm guessing they get another one again!

"What a relief to get that first one out of the way." Then follow it up with an impressive win over a playoff team.

29. (2-7) Devon Warriors (27)
Couldn't come up with the wins when they needed them, might get an extra though depending on how much of Kanar's team is left by Saturday. At this point it's probably unwanted damage to the draft order.

30. (1-8) Midnight Marauders (29)
Rivals Malones and Letaidens last week, Blitz this week. Life in the NC is unkind.
