Thank you, Radu.

So, my QB is STR/SPE/AGI/VIS/PAS/FOO all 40+, with 5 Stars EXP. According to your second thought, he can't be the main factor, right?

Is it the Receivers then, because they are mostly young, unexperienced and still need time to develop their non-physical skils?

This was just my oppinion Chrill, perhaps other managers have different ones, but your QB is at a very good level with those skills.

No, i do not believe that the WRs have anything to do with it, except high catching means less droped passes. Oooo, another thing i forgot to mention was the OLs, they do play a part in all of this, starting with protecting the QB on pass plays, to blocking when the RBs/FBs rush.

Radu has already taken the main points but I would like to share a bit of my experience. My best seasons in RZA (S41 and S42) were also the seasons that I had pretty good OLs. It is true that I used to spend a lot on wages (~6M) with my roster but the truly high skilled guys were my offense linemen. After I started to take care of my finances and released those guys I have not achieved the same success but I am slightly getting better results since new young OL are being developed.

In summary: I am not sure on how much OL influence but I know that they are more important than we could imagine to achieve success.

Don‘t forget the long balls, if used in the playbook.

PASS in the playbook means go for 1st down, but with 10 yards or less, it‘s usually a shorter pass. With 11+ it‘s equal to PASS Mid or PASS long, which has a much higher chance for an INT.

Thank you. My OLine is pretty good, and it show's, yes.

I do not use "Pass medium" or "Pass deep". That's a lesson I learned pretty early

Shoot, everything that's said here I did take care about, having an experienced QB, a good OLine, do not use "Pass medium/deep". What can it be then, if not the Receivers? I did note early in my first scrapbook I made for RZA, where I gathered all kinds of information about the game from this very thread, that INTs are influenced by VIS, POS and IQ of the Receivers... so they must have something to do with it

Oooooo I got something in my feed saying we were awarded "most popular game in May". What determines that and how do I find out which game it was? Sorry if this has been asked before.

I try to set up a playbook which leaves enough room for the game settings to be equally important. Now this happened in a scrimmage game and I don't know why:

11:39 3 and 13 to go on opp 31, Moreno Semenzato (OC) snaps the ball to Nicolò Stanzetti (QB), Nicolò Stanzetti (QB) selected Baron Jevtic (WR/L) as target,
the possible chance for an interception was destroyed by the receivers skills, this outer left pass is incomplete, the receiver was not able to make the catch, the Receiver was not able to execute the action, no progress (Wishbone vs. 3-4-4) more
11:31 Janusz Hämmisegger (P) punts the ball from opp 31 for 53, this is a touchback

Why did he punt there?

I have no line in the playbook matching this situation, but I set the Orders for the game in the Settings "Try Field goal instead punting on 4th down when distance" to "<35 Yards".

Us being on their 31-Yard-Line having 4th&13 should have activated this order and a FG-try should have been made, no? Do I oversee something?

I think you oversee the question mark
"
This setting may be overwritten by the playbook. Please note: the distance for the field goal attempt is calculated by using the distance to goalline and additional 17 yards for the endzone and the offset for the kicker.
"

EDIT: It's a rule invented by Americans/Canadians to confuse the rest of the world, for whom 11 meters to the goal from the spot is 11 meters not 9 or 15 (just so we think it's a game nearly as impossible to perceive its rules as baseball )
