I just deleted the Cup, this makes no sense to try and get Monarchs participants when not even 8 are willing to participate in weeks.
I might try to get one going somewhat later, but for now, no Cup. |

50 int always looks nice, especially on quarterbacks. In combo with a useful trait - very nice. Not sure about your Monarchs Cup approach. It's a unique tradition. Other teams (eg Oro) stand no chance, either but participate. Just to be a part of it. And for the tradition to live on

Not every post will get an answer, but if no one post at all, nothing happens at all and no response is possible also.
That's why I do my posts, not to force reactions, but to offer topics to talk about. I'm long enough here to know that not all do post. Your QB with speed at 41 will be fine I think, but there are many likely not taking a QB below 45 or even higher at speed. But sometimes you can't find the best combination and have to take some 2nd best choices, like my backup with not-50-int. |

I am glad to be in this league and look forward to competing. I didn't join the cup, as without my gameplan intact, it would have been just a donation. There should of been 8 teams that could of competed against each other in this league, that would have a real chance of winning.
I also apologize as I can be abrasive, unintentionally, I just wanted to point out that the people who have just joined try to participate, but it is hard when they don't have friendships or relationships with the others, they are playing against. I remember when redzone had full leagues and 2 minor leagues that you had to win to move up to number 1. I am wondering what happened? |

I do recommand to look for a so called mentor, this can become a quite direct relationship.
Some did also just ask me (and others) by PM and hope for an answer. Like all relationships, this has to be build, so if you have something to say or share, do it. I can't guarantee that you will get an answer, but the more often you do, the more likely it will be. The thing is, new players often come into the league, some are very intusiastic and spam the forum, only to be gone in a month or so. So, the old farts do always wait a bit, on how the team will develop and the user will behave. |

Regarding your QB, I don't know how old he is, but keep in mind that it _is_ possible to train past the red flag now. Both strength, and speed. Although it obviously costs a lot in terms of other training postponed. Youngsters gain somewhat faster above the red limit, that's also something to keep in mind.
EDIT: Actually, I re-read your 1st post. You are saying speed is quite ok It's strength that's on the weak side.
I don't know how it's possible to scout players in the academy. I scouted your senior one, and even that one looks quite fine for me. Especially if str/spe are not in the red yet. But if they are, at 23 he can still up them a bit. If your future star QB has got vision and speed, not to mention int and tal - I think you'll have a really good pair I think I'd use the time the younger one's in the aca to up him str a bit, but that's me. I really push those physicals to my players :-D
Myself, I also got me a second QB this season. My backup is also with leader, a little less Int, but unlike yours - he'll have max str and it's speed that's on the weak side. He is in my academy, didn't know you couldn't scout them. He is 20 being built up as much as I can and will be my starter next year.
Currently, he has 36 passing 35 vision 30 position 21 carry and 14 foot work. I will get them all up to 35 and max passing out to as high as I can prior to the end of the season and the start of next.. Last edited on 2023-06-11 21:08:29 by wsfjlt |

honestly I struggle with the youth academy in both concept and practice, I do much better in the draft, the problem is there only is 3 rounds. Which means I have to import talent. 1 player on my senior team came through the youth academy, and he is a 4th string Wideout rn.

It's your training, but my suggestion is to skip CAR and FOO, since they do have, if at all, limited impact. Don't waste YA points on such skills. |
