Congrats to Kraken and Sea Eagles. We stop here, but playing a Conference Championship was totally unexpected!

And one more round of handicapping. (And there was much rejoicing!)
Elite Championship: - Sydney Sea Eagles @ Space Kraken - Kraken by 12 Keep in mind these spreads are based on regular season numbers so don't reflect the nice job the Eagles have done post-season. So let's say it's closer than 12, maybe within a score, but still with the Kraken winning another crown. Supercup quarterfinals: - KMN Mandalorians @ Paris Guardians - Mandalorians by 7 Guardians have been playing really well lately, but good enough to get past KMN? douteux - Niceville Norsemen @ Mustangs - Mustangs by 8 A Fire v Fire matchup. I don't have season stats on the Norsemen, so had to fake this one. My gut thinks this will be a much closer game than that spread. (Though last season in the conference championships Mustangs took care of the Norsemen pretty handily.) - San Diego Blitz @ Social Distance Runners - Blitz by 4 SDB v SDR! Hard to pick against the Blitz here, though the Runners did have a pretty nice season. And this is one of 2 hard games SDR is playing this week, so they'll likely be happy if they win just one. - Missouri Misery @ Pizti Beltzak - Misery by 57 What??? Can't a guy be optimistic? I also don't have season stats for Pizti, though he unsurprisingly had a great season in his league. Both teams are evenly matched on the ratings, but I'm going to predict 2 Fire teams in the semifinals.
Champ of Champs: - Rio Galaxy @ Non Ducor Duco - Duco by 3 Well done by both of these teams making it this far. And one of them even get the opportunity of getting smashed in the championship round! - Social Distance Runners @ Sunrise City Prarie Dogs - Dogs by 6 In my belief that previous season Elite members shouldn't be included in this competition, I'm fully rooting for the Runners here. (Also, since they knocked me out in overtime in the first round, at least if they win it all I can say I lost to the champs.) |

Thank you guys, got pretty lucky my team got key stops holding to fgs while winning the TO battle. Shadow and I have traded victories in (at least) our last 10 games, so I guess I had some stored up luck from the last beatdown he gave me.
