Two teams advance today for a seat in Elite and a shot at the Fire League trophy. What a line up it is! I can't wait to see who advances to the championship to take their shot. Pete only gives out one of these Fire trophies each season. There have only been 56 handed out. Who wants that 57th?!?
We get the Wookies at the Misery for the AC showdown. The Wookies took the AC North against very stiff competition this season. Three of the four teams in the AC North made the playoffs. The Misery had an easier divisional path, but did go undefeated throughout the regular season. A tough task in Fire, no matter the division. Hard to pick a winner here as the Wookies have been full of surprises this season, but I have to go with the Misery in a close game on this one. In the NC, We have the Fargo Knights traveling to meet the Tennessee Frontiersmen. Both of these teams had tough regular season schedules and had to fight tooth and nail to get to this game. As pointed out earlier, the lone Frontiersmen loss came at the hands of the Knights in the season opener, and despite playing at home, I would agree that the Frontiersmen are the underdogs here. With that said, today I am going to go against conventional wisdom and pick the Frontiersmen for the win. I like their coaching staff and frankly, these guys are just due. Congratulations to you all on a terrific season. All four of these teams are deserving and I love playing against all four managers! Good luck guys! Now go bang some heads!  |

Wow, what a game!
BoaTek nailed it as far as it being a close game. The Wookies had a chance at the end, but spoiled by my LB sacking the QB before they could get the ball in the endzone. Great Game! Looked like the other game was a good one too, close all the way to the end. |

Thanks fellas, I kept waiting for the floodgates to open but the boys held up right to the end. Yea big sack on the last play trying for a rare deep pass.

Congratulations to the Fargo Knights for once again proving they are the superior team. A fourth-quarter interception for a touchdown and a late field goal sealed the deal. Coach Kyle now has some real thinking about who will lead the Frontiersmen in season 58. With the upcoming signing of rookie quarterback Kang will he even keep three quarterbacks on the payroll? Once again hats off to the Knights!
