So this week is bridging October and November of 2024 together.
And it seems that this guy, born in 1930, made a new movie that is coming to theatres this week. Frankly, Eastwood is a monument of cinema. He is not the first one to have a very long career, but even compared to his american counterparts, we have to remember that not only did he both act and direct films, but also that he is older than Scorcese, Stone, Coppola, Spielberg, De Niro... even a bit older than Robert Redford. Making a new movie at 94, how big of an accomplishment is it ? |

David worked for the National Geographic in the 50s which paved the way for an amazing career in wildlife documentaries. Anyone old enough (namely me) to have seen him on TV being groomed by the gorillas in Africa in the 70s won't forget it. |

My grandson and me watch the Our Planet series on Netflix in original language, because we like his way of explaining things. The German translation is not bad, but the original David is even better
