As always when the season is coming to an end the HAMBURG SEA LIONS office is not as present as it is when the team has games to play, and especially this season with christmas and all the end-of-the-year-stuff we are quite preoccupied with other things.
Of course we’ll be having an eye on the big game today, but we’re also looking forward to the next season and the new challenges it will bring. We already knew which teams will be relegated to their respective regions next season, and since the conference championship games the teams that will replace them are also known. Here’s an overview of who will compete with us next season: From the Thunder league return Sfniner08 and the Deflators. From Fire join the Mustangs and first time Elitist Willoughby Wookies. From Sea Devils return the Glasgow Tigers and the Stone Mountain Hawks 2. Also returning, but from the Monarchs league, are the Blue Devils and the Suchdol Minors. Another first time Elitist comes from the Claymore region, Smokin’ Aces, along with the well known Forest Falcons. From Galaxy return the Rockford River Rats, and fellow league member Wrexham Exiles joins the league for the first time. From the Dragons region return Pizti Beltzak and the Brookfield Ukies. And back from the Admirals league come the Diorite Lions and the ChosenOnes. We’re excited whom we’ll play next season, but for now wish everyone good luck in the big game today and a happy new year!  |

Congratulations lallen, your team certainly has gotten hot at the right time!
Holly, man, my best advice is to lose next season so you can relegate and switch regions. Sea Devils are almost as cursed as Dragons. But still, a great season. |
