Long Snapper: OL/QB
Holder: STH Nickleback: CB/SF Edge: DE/OLB Slot: WR/TE Wingback: RB/WR H-Back: FB/TE Third OL/SF "Tush-push":FB/TE/OL Wildcat: QB/RB QB Spy: LB/SF These are some of the positions in the game that require sometimes unique skillsets or is otherwise rotated between positions such as the Edge player. The Edge is my #1 most important as the player here as they act as stand-up DL and rely less on Strength and contact with the OL. There are also disguised coverage plays where Edge players drop into coverage or act as a contain on the outside. I'm not sure if anyone has other positions or otherwise have discussion about these hybrid positions and how they could impact the game. Granted; the different positions are calculated within the match engine I believe. Whether these are worth integrating or not is just for debate, whatever the reception. Grandpa Rurik |
