Review of matchday 7
The Miners made an interception against the Orono Ancient Snappers and had to accept a fumble. On the positive side, they gained almost 300 yards more ground and were able to provoke 4 sacks and 3 fumbles. Final score: Ruhrpott Miners 31 @ 10 Orono Ancient Snappers

We've tried. I even gave the team out-of-schedule PC training. Our defense wasn't bad. Most of the Panthers' drives we've managed to keep far enough only for a punt. But our offense was horrible today. We rarely managed a second first down. Or may be it wasn't our offense, but our opponents' defense who was at fault  .The only TD was a deep deep pass.
And the worst was - we allowed 2 lo-ong returns. One of the things I love the most in football, second only to rushing TD by quarterbacks. But I would much prefer seeing one by _our_ KR :-D ps. I may be a little harsh on my team, though. Our 777 ELO against 982, even knowing ELO is not all that matters, means even my slight hope for a surprise here didn't have a lot of real weight. Bye week. Final score: % % @ % % Surprises of matchday 8 KAFakofers 91 @ 28 Cottbus Cobras A completely surprising result in terms of the score. Far too many errors on the part of the Cobras led to the KAFakofers' very high score. 2 allowed sacks, 3 fumbles and 8 interceptions speak for themselves. Preview of matchday 9 Against a BOT. Young players collect EXP (TC is at 100%). Time to find our formation and players their position. |
