I've seen every Super Bowl since 1989. I won't be watching it this year.
This season it seems like the NFL wants the Chiefs to win at all costs. So many bad ref calls in Chiefs games in favor of the Chiefs. The more the NFL denies everything is scripted, the more I believe it is scripted. The NFL can probably make even more money with the three-time Super Bowl winner Chiefs. The fun has been completely taken out of this season for me. By the way, yes, I'm an old boy. Born in 1963. |

Sorry to hear that, but the stats (facts) don't support your claims. And watching an entire game would prove there's plenty of questionable calls on both sides. Just an excuse to put down consistently successful teams, like the Chiefs and Patriots have been. I despised the Patriots, but respected what they did. By the way, Chiefs 24-20. |

Pats: ![]() - Snowplow Game - Spygate - Deflategate - ... ![]() Yes, look at the stats this season for the Chiefs and watch the entire games. The refs argument doesnt add up. Roughing the passer, or penalties in general, compare the chiefs with other teams. As for the Pats, wasn't the snowplow game back around 1980, way before their multiple super bowl wins, or was there a second one I've very possibly forgotten about? As for the other 2, you are right, and maybe i should be more upset about those, but both of those were unnecessary to win those games. The Jets were no threat to the Patriots, so cheating with spygate didn't make sense, other than that Bilichek had a silly long standing grudge against them. It's been a while, was Spygate found to be happening more than just against the Jets? That would certainly sour me more against their legacy. Deflate gate was debatable depending on who you ask, but i believe it happened. Once again, they didn't need to cheat against the Colts in that playoff game. Their RB, Blount, killed the Colts every time he faced them, and this game was no exception. -G.O.A.T- didn't need to throw the ball to win that game, so why deflate the football? Not smart on their part. So yes, the Patriots have been caught before, but they are so bad at cheating when they don't even need to, i don't even know how to feel about that. I've definately never been a Pats fan, but I still respect what they did for as long as they did. But if they were found out to be cheating more than those two times, that would change things for me. And i wouldn't doubt if they did, but I've not seen anything to say they did. |

I dont think this issue is about stats from entire game. The issue people criticize is the fact those bad calls very often happen in crucial moments of the game and they are in Chiefs favor. Not every bad call has game changing potential. Like in the Chiefs-Bills game the bad ball spotting twice in a row... But maybe all this will at least force NFL to start using technology. I dont understand why there is no technology involved in spotting the ball. They say its game of inches, but they let humans to put the ball somewhere in the area where it happened ![]() ![]() |

They say its game of inches, but they let humans to put the ball somewhere in the area where it happened ![]() ![]() There are always big calls during the game, but people only have a memory about late game calls. Not penalties in this example, but mistakes in the ravens bills game. Announcers refused to blame jackson on 2 earlier turnovers, but only the Ravens TE andrews for dropping the late 2pt conversion. He was at fault, but if Jackson didnt throw a bad intercepition and lose that odd fumble, it would be a completely different outcome. I remember a couple bad ref decisions that favored the bills against kc, can't say those didn't matter. The 4th down call looked a bit short to me, looking straight down the line and not at bad camera angles, but it was a very close call. Technology would be fine if accurate enough to see through all those players that may block line of sight. Last edited on 2025-02-09 22:14:58 by ombi24 |
