Welcome everyone to Galaxy season 60! Good luck in your matches.
Mediacenter - don't forget to pledge so we can all benefit financially. Sponsor - and remember to pick your sponsor. First league games are next Saturday. Most of us are playing against bots, but we do have three competitive games: Kirky 44's take on Apocalipse Now - a tough first match for Apocalipse, but they reached the divisional play-off last season so it won't be easy for K44, who will be hoping for promotion this time round. Poruba Jeremies visit Wolves - both teams are well established, with ELO ratings less than 100 apart. Could be interesting! Cincinnati Tigers - a brand new team - go to Wrexham Exiles - a very tough start for the Tigers. Last edited on 2025-04-01 12:45:49 by StuartW |

Round 1 of the Draft is tomorrow. An exciting time for those of us who enjoy scouting the available players.
Remember to put your Draft Board in order ['Team' on the navigation bar, then 'Draft Board']. Round 1 happens at 3am RZA time. Wednesday 2 April. If you haven't had time to scout the prospects - you can use the pre-set 'Sort' buttons located just above the player list. Good luck, everyone! |

We now have the final Galaxy lineup for season 60. Two teams switched to other leagues, but we have two brand new managers: Cincinnati Tigers and Louisville Redbirds. Rangers joined towards the end of February and are making excellent progress building stadium capacity.
This takes us to a starting point of 15 human teams and 17 bots. We’re competing for 12 playoff spots, the top 6 teams in each Conference. Just a reminder, we need one more team to represent Galaxy in the World Cup (playing against other leagues) - see Steve's post. |

By, “we need two more teams”, in what sense? Is it human teams in the league or teams currently in the league signing up. If the latter, where is the list of who has signed up?
Leadhills are ready to play but don’t know if we are signed up. “ StuartW wrote:

Or are you referring to the League, in which case I don’t understand the question. Thanks! Just to add... if it's the World Cup, Steve (San Diego Blitz) is Galaxy's captain. The first match is on Friday 18 April. I'm not sure how he will engineer it but I think that, with his help, we need to arrange a Friendly on that date against a specified opponent. Maybe Steve knows more! Last edited on 2025-04-05 08:40:54 by StuartW |

I was confusing the league and World Cup sentences.

OK…I think we are both signed up in the sense that Steve has listed us as part of the Galaxy team in the World Cup thread in Galaxy Forum. I think we are now waiting for further instruction.
In that thread Steve lists 4 teams as signed up, so we need one more - unless Rats gave confirmed they are playing. |

No surprises in Galaxy's week-1 results, but Poruba Jeremies put up a great fight against Wolves.
The two teams made very similar offence yardage but Wolves picked off two interception return TDs compared to PJ's single turnover: a long fumble return that led to a PJ TD a few plays later. On to week 2... |
