Shedeur Sanders didn't get taken in the first round. What a fall...he's was the "consensus" number one pick at the start of the college football season. Now, he's probably the #3 QB taken after Ward and Dart.
Interestingly, all three of the QB's transferred during they college career. Steve SD Blitz |

Transfering high profile QBs will be the norm for the upcoming future, since it is much more likely that the value of the QB is detected in his first 1 or 2 seasons than hitting it right on the first commitment.
And money is also a big factor now, so every switch does give a QB the chance to up their NIL income until a potential pro career. And we are right now already talking about 1 mio to 4 mio plus per season for top players on that position. If they do not find ways to regulate transfers and NIL offers, the tranfers will be everywhere to maximize the income until the college career ends. EDIT: And regarding the drafted QBs: Drafting a QB is a lottery, no such pick is a save bet. This season was considered a weak QB year, so no wonder it went as it did. Could end up that in 4 seasons none of them will be a starter anymore or it will turn out they are all way better than the scouts did think. Whenever they will find a way to determine the real prospect value of a QB, the NFL draft will be much more boring. ![]() Last edited on 2025-04-25 07:04:30 by jack6 |

The real surprises I found were:
Jaguars Being The One To Snatch Hunter, Cowboys Getting Another Guard Instead Of A RB, Buccaneers and Packers getting a WR, And Giants Drafting Dart Instead Of Sanders. What Do You Guys Think? |

What Do You Guys Think? Risky move by Titans, but I can understand they were eager to have a QB. I've watched some of their game and at every single off play I felt sorry for their fanbase. About Packers I think they needed a good and not injury prone WR I'm quite perplexed by Shemar Stewart picked by Cincy. I can understand this choice only if Trey Hendrickson stays one more year, if not, well... |
