Lost FG
0:22 1 and 10 to go on opp 46, Elias Hawk (OC) snaps the ball to Dauntay Robinson (QB), Dauntay Robinson (QB) selected Simon Hroch (WR/R) as target, the receiver of this outer right pass catches the ball, Manu Laurén (CB/L) missed his chance for a tackle, Oskar Roth (OLB/L) made the tackle, forward progress: 13 yards, New first down (Singleback Spread vs. 3-3-5) Field goal chance, right? Nope end of the half. I know we don't control timeouts but I think any team would have been able to run a play and then clock the ball in 22 seconds. |

In NFL those would be a kneel down actions and no FG would happen. One snap normally lasts for 28 to 34 seconds, so I have my rules set to kick FG if time <45 seconds. For me this is normal and I don't see a need to change it. Leading, no kneel down which would be a normal.play for all american football teams, so no need for extra time stoppage |

No. Why would a team do that to end the half? We had just made the pass to put us in position to make a 50 yard FG. Team runs the play, hurries to the line, sets for 1 second hikes the ball to qb who throws it directly into the ground (clocking the ball). Incomplete pass. 2nd down clock is stopped. You can do this in under 22 seconds Last edited on 2025-04-23 01:06:05 by Stabler12 |

And I agree that there should be hurry up offense at the end of half for both teams, not just for one that is losing at that time. In that case there would be like 2-4 seconds left and you would take your chance with FG. Sorry mate, my fault. I apologize. |

There is no clock stop action available in the current engine. In my opinion the attacking team would have called a timeout in that situation. And no, I cannot change the timing of the play itself without influencing all plays.

6:46 2 and 7 to go on opp 40, Elias Hawk (OC) snaps the ball to Dauntay Robinson (QB), Dauntay Robinson (QB) selected Darius Schmidt (TE/R) as target, Fatih Kalil (OLB/L) seems to go for the blitz, the pass goes inner right to the receiver, who catches the ball, Darius Schmidt (TE/R) sees no OLBs, and gets tackled by Mathieu Van den Bijl (SS/L), forward progress: 3 yards (Big I formation vs. 3-4-4)
That look of excitement seeing no LB's and then Wham! the Safety hits for a 3 yard gain. 3 Yards! This ain't right! Same game 20 minutes later: 10:37 3 and 3 to go on own 39, Elias Hawk (OC) snaps the ball to Dauntay Robinson (QB), Dauntay Robinson (QB) selected Hunter Yanez (TE/L) as target, Lance Gentile (DE/L) breaks through the line, Eun-Hee Gal (FB/C) blocks, Mathieu Van den Bijl (SS/L) seems to go for the blitz, the pass goes outer left to the receiver, who catches the ball, Hunter Yanez (TE/L) sees no OLBs, there is no SS who could tackle him, finally he gets tackled by Elmer Sorensen (FS/R), forward progress: 1 yards (Big I formation vs. 5-2) Thank God for Sorensen for stopping this big pass. 1 yard, This ain't right.
