I can no longer u p d a t e my depth chart because I have over 55 players. Should I just try to sell guys lower on my depth chart? That's what I've been trying to do but the worst players on my team are really bad so they aren't being bought. Is it better to just cut them then?

If you don't want a player to play, you must delete all assignments that player has. This should free up a spot in the Deepth Chart for another player to be added to the Deepth Chart.

For really bad players, just cut them.

You can remove players from your depth chart, then add someone else in.
You don't need to release/sack/sell them as you can have more players on your squad than fit into the depth chart.

Is there an easy way to immediately remove someone completely from the depth chart?

if they play multiple positions, you have to go to each position group and eliminate them there.

Click the cross at far right alongside their name when you s e l e c t a position.
Do it for every position they play.

It happened to me that although I removed a player, still the spot didn't come free.
Often the reason is because you "forget" to have that player set as a Special team blocker/tackler, too.
Don't forget to check those
