Alright, alright, alright. The season is winding up and I am super excited to be playing humans again soon! This has been a snoozer of a season for the Norsemen. Too lazy to count it up, but I think I played 8 humans this season? Anyway, let's talk playoffs.
In the AC, Braska Bangers and I both are locks. I am definitely getting a 1 or 2 seed. Likely, the 1 seed. That leaves Braska, the Aberthaw Dolphins and Champ Chompers fighting for the second seed. Mitigating factors: The Dolphins and Chompers will play each other in the last game of the season and Braska is going into their soft part of the schedule. The Glizzy Gobblers have won the war of attrition in the AC South and will cruise to a division title. That leaves the newcomers, Crunch as most likely to get the last WC spot in the AC. Over in the NC, no team has punched a ticket to the playoffs, yet. Gladiatori Roma continue to exercise control over the conference and remain undefeated. The Sydney Sloths have a commanding lead in the East, as do the TigerCats in the North. Out in the West however, we have a little drama brewing. The Reapers are hoping to move past the Bonaval Acorns for the last WC spot in the playoffs, and the chances look pretty good. The Reapers face 3 bots to end the season. The Acorns have a much tougher battle as they will face both Gladiatori Roma and the Sydney Sloths to end the season. Of course, all eyes are on the division leading Kirky 44s. This transplant team has fared well in Fire, that is until their current three game losing streak that began with, the Reapers. The 44s close out with a soft schedule, but do have to face the Champ Chompers this Saturday. With only one more win than the Reapers and 4 games to play, this could get interesting! apart from the first head-to-head clash with Fargo, which was still very closed, my calendar this season in the league has been not very demanding so far... in the cup instead I suffered a lot more... I don't think we'll get far! However, the playoffs are always full of surprises! We have a good defense... let's see what happens today and then try to build something on it!

Kirky 44's at Champ Chompers may be the best game of the week if it doesn't end up being TigerCats @ Gladatori Roma. As previously highlighted, both of these games have playoff implications as well.

The fact that you and TimND are going back and forth tells me that your team is absolutely for real, and TimND is a very dangerous manager. I know how you feel though. I have only played one playoff team this season. If I do not promote, I think I am coming back home to the NC South. This has been the second worst season I have had in RZA in terms of enjoyment. Bot bashing sucks. |
