That was a crazy game, your 99 Yards Kickoff return! Awesome, keep this KR.
![]() But holy moly your QB had a bad day! Lucky me though. ![]() |

2025-06-03 17:00 Wildcard Playoff Berlin Racoons @ Orono Ancient Snappers Both teams had off-days and great days, so this can go any way. The match during this season did end with a Racoons win, last season (Supercup) it was a Snappers win. I slightly do favor the Raccons, but only by gut-feeling. ![]() Very high margin win for the Racoons, thanks to a high amount of turnovers by the Snappers. jack6 wrote:
Doves @ Hopping Rabbits The 3rd game between the teams during this season. Right now they are 1-1, with me favoring the Rabbits to win again. But likely also a close one. ![]() A close game, which did feature a lot of turnovers on both sides and also a lot of missed field goal. jack6 wrote:
KAFakofers @ Suchdol Minors Another 3 game rematch, but here the Minors did sweep the KAFakofers and will do this likely again. The teams are very far seperated in terms of strength. ![]() That went as expected, high margin win by the Miners. jack6 wrote:
Paxtang Black Panthers @ birney's weekenders Another rematch. The teams did play a few weeks before and the Panthers won in a close one. Now I think, the Panthers will win with a bigger margin, IF the weekenders managers won't login until the game starts. If he does, I pick still the Panthers, but a close one. ![]() The weekenders manager DID login on 1st of June and we GOT a close game, only in favor of the weekenders. The deciding TD was a 80+ yard punt return TD late in the 4th. OK, so the divisional playoffs are coming and the winner from the wildcard games will get the next challenge. 2025-06-07 17:00 Divisional Playoff Berlin Racoons @ Rockabilly Kings The 2 teams did not meet so far. With the last few games by the Racoons very convincing (I don't get how their RZA calculated level of strength on the roster is 60-something, while they play like a high 70 or even low 80 team) I pick the Racoons to win here. birney's weekenders @ Ruhrpott Miners The Miners are favored in this game. This season they won a match against the weekenders by more than 5 scores difference. Again, if the weekenders manager logs in, this will be closer than if he doesn't. Still I pick the Miners to win. Doves @ Trnava Saints Another rematch of a season game. The Saints won that and will likely win here again. The Saints are a stronger team and should win clearly. Suchdol Minors @ Black Habaneros An interesting match and likely the closest game. Minors are favored, won a game during the season. But the Habaneros did gain some ground since then, so on a bad day, they might flip the script. I still pick the Minors to prevail in a close game. |

The 3rd round is over. A major win by the Racoons.

![]() Sunrise City Prairie Dogs @ Berlin Racoons ![]() ![]() ChosenOnes @ Space Kraken (ELITE) ![]() ![]() That makes it 2-3 for that round. 1-1 from Elite teams. For 4th round it's just 2 teams left. 1 from Elite. Space Kraken (ELITE) @ Glasgow Tigers Prairie Falcons @ Berlin Racoons Good luck for all of you! |

Looking into the crucial plays, it seems the Kings could have scored more, but some stops inside the Racoons redzone did help to keep the score low. Racoons were also stopped once inside the Kings Redzone, but overall I think the Kings did win luckily in such a close way and the Racoons were lucky to have just that close loss. jack6 wrote:

Then did the Miners score a TD and pulled away with 2 scores. Unable to answer did then the Miners run down the clock, but scored again late in the 4th. jack6 wrote:

The Saints are a stronger team and should win clearly. ![]() Doves stated with an INT, but recovered over the 1st half and did trail only by 3 at the break. A Saints INT beginning for the 4th did change the modus of the game so far, since it helped the Doves to gain a lead by a score. The Saints tied the game and the Doves did kick a field goal inside the last 2 minutes. Saints tried their best, but did not make it into a save FG distance and miss the game tying 64 yarder. Big upset by the Doves. jack6 wrote:

I still pick the Minors to prevail in a close game. ![]() Habaneros did lose the game in the 1st quarter with allowing 21-0. Overall they lost because of a lot of turnovers, I think. They might have overcome the deficit, if those turnovers wouldn't have happen, but hard to tell. So, that means we will have a (for me) strange setup for the Conference Championship. 2025-06-10 17:00 Conference Championship Doves @ Rockabilly Kings I did not see any of those teams in the Championship game prior the wildcard games and I have major doubts that any of the teams will have a great time in elite next season. But it is as it is. The Kings did invest a lot of money in prospects, but are not quite yet there. On the other hand have the Doves a more mature roster, but did lack over the season the punch to win against big teams (except now in the playoffs, if you want). I see the Doves favored here, but the Kings have chance. Overall the Doves should win here, I expect a close one. Suchdol Minors @ Ruhrpott Miners Those two teams should be in the Bowl, I think, but the modus does not allow that and the winner will move on, the lose will have to wait to next season. They did play only once against each other, in season 56, so no indication here. I personally think the Miners are favored, but that's more a 60:40 thing, so close game, and Minors do have a fair shot. I predict the team with less errors will win and go to Elite. I think the Miners have here the edge. |

That was unexpected and disappointing from my point of view. But nice defensive work there by the Rockabilly Kings!
Good luck to all remaining teams! |

I predict the team with less errors will win and go to Elite. I also think the team with fewer errors will be allowed to advance to the final. And here, I'm thinking primarily of my team. In the playoffs, they repeatedly demonstrate how error-prone they are. This is a good opportunity for my QB and my RBs to show their best side. I can only hope there aren't too many INTs and FUMs. Here's to a good game, wiznoo. ![]() |
