The Doves started with a big package into the 2nd quarter, trailing 10:21. The 2nd quarter did then give the Doves again after a Kings INT the chance to close the gap and they did, but were unable to stop another longs Kings drive, so the quarter went 7:7. The Doves had bad luck late in the 2nd when they threw their 3rd INT on a long and possible scoring drive, but were lucky, since the turnover did not result in additional Kings points, even with a long return. The 3rd quarter was all Doves, but they did lack the punch to get TDs and settle for 2 field goals, now only trailing by 5 points. And in the 4th ....well the 4th Doves INT did result in an return-TD (missed PAT) and an 11 point lead and then had the Kings a long drive to bring to lead to 18 points and the 41:23 win. Overall it did look quite close and a less error prone Doves team would have made an impact, but it is as it is. Congratulation to the Kings for the Conference title and a trip to Elite.

A quite defense driven game here, with the Miners scoring first in the 1st quarter with a FG, the Minors scoring the 1st TD in the 2nd quarter and both teams most of the time stopped before something serious happens, or at least held to a field goal. 10:6 lead for the Minors after the 1st half. The 3rd quarter had a long drive by the Minors at the start, only ended by a fumble, which the Miners then returned for some good yardage and the rest did the offense do to score their 1st TD and taking the lead. Next Minors driven again a long one, but that was stopped before a TD could happen and a field goal did tie the game at 13. The Minors then had a great drive going into the 4th quarter and it did finish with a TD, which was of course a touch one. Later the Miners had their chance for a scoring drive, went over the field and stopped 12 yards before the goalline and missed on top the shot! 5 min. to play. Minors got the ball, went to mid-field, had to punt and the Miners did throw an INT on the next play inside their red zone, which was returned for a winning TD. 27:13 did the Minors win. Congratulation on the Conference title win and the trip back to Elite!
That makes the Bowl a game I did not expect to happen. 2025-06-17 17:00 Bowl Rockabilly Kings @ Suchdol Minors The teams did never meet under the current management. Since the Minors are much more mature than the Kings, there is no doubt, they are the favorites. Sure, every team has a chance, but from my point of view, here the chances are 90:10 for the Minors or better. Good luck for both of you. |

That's a tough cookie, so good luck! Well, a close game, but Kraken did lose in the Semis. So, the end of the line for the Monarchs region in the Supercup this season. |

I think it's safe to say, the Minors did collect points from the errors of the Kings and until halftime it was at the beginning not close, then it got closer again. But after halftime the errors did prevail, but the so far quite good Kings offense did stutter and the Minors won the Bowl at the end clearly 37:14. Congratulation! |
