Agree 100%. The only seasons I have a significant deficit is when I splurge on a player on the transfer market. Otherwise, I'm pretty much breaking even (slightly above/slightly below) most seasons. But I don't overtrain players and generally keep skills below or just above 40 until I give them their final multi-season contract
