For last gameday, one major difference to my predictions.
Cobras did win a close one against Invictus, which is a big upset. Likely no major impact on playoff participation, but eventually on playoff seats. Next gameday big game between Sainst and Leopards. |

No big differences in league results to my picks for last gameday.
Just one of the BOT internal games did go a different way, but that's normal and has almost no impact. Next gameday tomorrow on Tuesday features birney's weekenders @ Cottbus Cobras which I had picked so far for weekenders, but can turn out different. And Black Habaneros @ Paris Chiefs might turn into a BOT vs human game, not sure when the hammer falls on Habaneros, if they don't login fast. Might be this night. The owner of the Jaguars has logged in early enough (yesterday) to avoid a BOT-dome of the franchise, but my experience on this is, this only delays in 90%+ of the cases the BOt-dome, but does not prevent it, since the manager has already turned away. We will see. |

The game was never intended to be a commercial success, it was and still is, a hobby, which did gather some players. Given the age, the design and the overall status of such online games, it's remarkable still about 200 players are on the site. And yes, everyone has from time to time shitty matches.  |

Well, Cobras won against the weekenders as one difference to my predictions.
And KAFakofers did (literally) upset Dumpster Fire as difference to my picks. And at last, I had the Orono Ancient Snappers losing against the Hopping Rabbits, but it came different. Overall the impact will still be small, much severe will be, that the Black Habaneros did fall BOT this night, with a farewell win of the non-BOT-Habaneros against the Chiefs and from now onward likely only losses against human teams for the now being-BOT Habaneros. That will change the playoff picture a bit. AC AC East Trnava Saints 14 2 Berlin Racoons 10 6 Derpenstein Devils 7 9 Corn Dogs (BOT) 2 14 No changes AC North Leverkusen Leopards 15 1 Cottbus Cobras 12 4 Blatná Jaguars 3 13 Taboo Mules (BOT) 0 16 Beside BOT results, which are a coin toss, the biggest difference are the Cobras winning against Invictus and weekenders. I did not change a single pick for the upcoming games. Cobras now in much better position for a playoff spot. This did instantly change the outcome of the division and the playoff seats. I did grant several teams coming automatic wins against the new BOT team, including Trnje to likley winning the division. Beside the BOT games I did not change a single pick, so that alone granted Trnje 2 win more than before. NC North Morior Invictus 14 2 birney's weekenders 11 5 Paris Chiefs 8 8 Prague Lions 7 9 No change for Invictus, weekenders had one upset, but got a extra win granted from the Habaneros business. Maybe that BOT game will gain them enough PD to overcome the Tigers in the playoff seats. NC South Ruhrpott Miners 16 0 Paxtang Black Panthers 11 5 Fort Worth Funky (BOT) 3 13 Saucon Valley (BOT) 2 14 I had the Panthers with a win more, but they lost to Caplit e salama. This might hurt their playoff chances, but PD will likely help them. NC West Caplit e salama 14 2 Tokha Tigers 11 5 KAFakofers 8 8 Yaroslavl Bears (BOT) 3 13 The Panthers win did give Caplit e salama an small lift, KAFakofers did gain a win against Dumpster Fire. |

I have 2 differences to my picks for last gameday.
The 1st is the Doves getting upset by the Snappers. Doves went last season to the conference championship game, so I had them picked as the winner, but the Snappers won in almost with 2 scores. The 2nd difference are the Chiefs losing to KAFakofers. This game has so far no playoff impact, neither of the teams did lose or gain much in the playoff race, but KAFakofers are gaining ground with 2 upsets in a row. Next gameday looks quite clear, so any difference will be a surprise. |

All good things have to end. A loss to Comanches in the SC ended our winning streak.
I can't say I am unhappy with the performance, though, considering the difference between the class of both teams. We were soundly beaten in low game, but our passing yards were actually better. Sacks again not in our favour - something we really need to look at if we ever want to achieve something bigger than occupying the mid table in Monarchs I. |
