I've said this before. Every season in some game i selected a winner even if he is the underdog. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't.
I'm glad this times it happened with both Chrill and Stabler, which perhaps most of you considered they will lose. Regarding #2, the winning team has his team in place and has a couple of months of experience, not to mention a bigger team value. That's not a surprise for me at all. But there are some games in which perhaps the score is very close, like #3 above, but as a saying goes "It doesn't matter if you win by a inch or a mile, winning is winning". If the score had been reversed, the match would have been on the list. |

Sea Devils Teams that have a good chance of being in the Super Cup Playoffs:
Division 1: Michigan Weasels: With 3 games left, it looks like Michigan already clinched a spot at 11-1. Division 2: Minnesota Silver Foxes: They have a very easy rest of their schedule, sitting at 8-4 in the 5th spot of division 2. Division 3: Minotaurs are close, at 5-7, but with the rest of their schedule, its looking grim for them, so, no one. Division 4: Konjarnik Hightowers: sitting at 9-3, it looks like the Hightowers already might have clinched a spot. Black Knights: they need Trnje to lose once or twice and they need to win more than once, sitting at 6-6, the Knights actually have a chance with an easy rest of their schedule. Division 5: Devon Warriors: they need Crunch to lose once and for them to win 2 or more games to clinch, sitting at 8-4. With 2 easy games, it should be possible. Division 6: St Pauli Packers: It hasn't been..an amazing super cup season for St Pauli (8-4), but hey, they are handling it very well, however only 1 easy game is for them, and the other 2 games..can be tough, however Kladno unfortunately will probably lose once in their remaining schedule, so St Pauli will be easily making it in Terrifying Hamsters: What a season for the Hamsters. The Hamsters have 2 easy games left, so it doesn't really matter, they will clinch. HAMBURG SEA LIONS: Hamburg has 2 easy games left, so does Kladno. even if Hamburg did lose one game, they would still have one win ahead of Kladno, who is just missing the playoffs. Division 7: Manta Rays: Ngl, it was pretty concerning that they started the season 3-3, but they have been perfect so far since then. they already have 2 games against BOTS, and it takes them about 1 or 2 wins to clinch, so, yeah. Division 8: Northern Storm: with 2 easy games left and the only person who can beat them has also 2 easy games but is one win lower than the Storm, it looks like the Storm should barely make it in. Division 9: No Sea Devil Teams Division 10: Bruisers: with the only teams that can overtake the Bruisers is BOTS, its pretty easy to say that Bergen will make it this season. Division 11: No Sea Devil Teams Division 12: Ghost of Bautzen: 12-0..do I need to say more? Vancouver Corsairs: Vancouver has 1 BOT game, and 2 games they should win, plus, they need one of the 7-5 teams to lose to clinch anyway..so..it's safe to say Vancouver will Clinch. Division 13: Both Romes: Rome Torresina and Rome Centvrions, only one of them can make it in..surprisingly, and only BOTS can overtake them..which the BOTS won't. We'll see how it'll play out. Division 14: The Only Sea Devil is a BOT..and that team is doing bad.. Division 15: Social Distance Runners: 11-1..again #1 seed..seriously do I have to say more? Constanta Ravens: 10-2, and can clinch if Sfniner08 loses 1 more game..which is definitely possible. Division 16: dERBENT CONVICTS: Holy..Super Cup Games are definitely different from league games, already has clinched the playoffs at 10-2. Division 17: I want to say the Victors have a chance..but The Blue and White have a better schedule than the Victors..so...no one Division 18: Sheffield Wednesday: 10-2..can clinch if the Devil Bats lose 1 game. Italian Bears: Its the "So you're saying there's a chance" situation. Currently tied with the Devil Bats, they just have to outlast them and the Comets who are 1 win behind them. It just depends on what will happen in the final few games, because the Italian Bears are set to face both the Devils Bats and the Comets. I didn't miss them, I just don't think the downriver seals will, once the Olivos Borrachos win their game..which they will..downriver might be in a pickle. Downriver needs to win all of their games since Olivos has 1 easy game and might lose 2 games, and 2 games for downriver are generally hard.

Silver Foxes are announcing a lot of things today:
1. they announce that they are keeping Haseri Jampaka as starting QB in S62 despite recent struggles, hoping for a better and easier season. 2. Silver Foxes announce they will be changing their stadium beverages..what it is is unknown, but it's better than the one they usually have. 3. Silver Foxes are attempting to get DL Lawrence Landers and will extend his contract if he is acquired, "If Lance and Colin are retiring, we need a guy to fill in their shoes" says Imrich "Im rich" Kaderábek, DL Coach. 4. Mathieu Van den Bijl is expected to be put on the Transfer Market on the week of Champ of Champs. 5. Silver Foxes announce that their current in-game money is 40.6M, but they want to keep it at a high level and they will save instead of spend, saying most of their S62 needs will be in the draft. 6. Silver Foxes reveal a Navy and Ice Blue combined with Silver Jersey for the Super Cup playoffs, different from the usual Silver and Black or Silver and White Jerseys. 7. SUPERCUP presentation
Nice work, Bastian. I thought a lot how to present this, but you really have to add the Elite teams next time. Half of them played in our league last season and half of them will play in our league in the next season. They are 100% Sea Devils, too. I'm looking forward to this in the next weeks. Maybe an own supercup thread? |

Elite Sea Devils Teams and their chances of making the Super Cup Playoffs:
Division 11 - Mystics - about a 80–90% chance. Why: They’re beating the BOT, that’s 9 wins. If they win just one of the two remaining games (Vamosahi or Gobblers), they finish 10–7, which likely secures a playoff spot, They’re already a win ahead of Vamosahi and Bonval, Even if they lose to Vamosahi or the Gobblers, Vamosahi still has to beat one of the top teams (Alert Polar Bears), which is unlikely, and Bonval has a very tough path, they likely lose to the Diorite Lions, and would need to win both other games and hope Mystics lose twice. Unless they somehow collapse, they will be in. Division 14 - KMN Mandalorians - 100% chance. Why: already clinched the playoffs since they are perfect so far and the lowest playoff spot is at 7-5. Division 16 - Constanta Sailors - ~99.9% chance. Why: tied in 3rd with Cà Mau con hổ and dERBENT, sitting at a 10-2 record and already has a game against a BOT, so unless the Sailors sell their entire roster, they are making it in since the lowest team at a playoff spot is 7-5. Division 18 - Glasgow Tigers - 100% chance. Why: Glasgow is 11-1, lowest playoff spot is 8-4, even if they collapse they cannot get out of the playoffs since the team with the biggest record in the hunt is 7-5. basically clinched. (~99.9% is basically that they haven't clinched yet, but will definitely clinch unless something terrible happens.) So now my prediction is that all of the Elite teams will make it in, making the Sea Devils teams that are in the Super Cup playoffs now to 24
