SEA DEVILS MATCH OF THE WEEK
By the way, I can win our city championship today. But that's not enough for an SDMOTW. I took Warriors @ Runners. There are some teams that are interested in a particular result. A Loss of the Runners would have a noticeable impact on the NC. Not only will the Weasels and Packers gain some comfort in the top two spots, but the Runners will also be within reach of a better playoff spot for Wednesday or whoever wins the NC East. In the AC Torresina, the Hamsters and the Black Knights are battling for a wild-card spot. A Warriors loss fits well into their season plans. The Runners and Warriors are both members of the Sea Devils Hall of Fame and have both played in this region for over 50 seasons. The Munich team holds a league record of 14-6. Historians date the last Serbian victory to S49. |

Wazzzzup on the transfer market?
The Manta Rays are chasing this 21yo free agent today. Low talent, but everything else is a superior DL. He seems to be his next QB (4.5 stars, talent 5, natural leader, pass 50) and this one here is someone for his future D-Line. Someone in Australia might want to win the Division in S62. The Centvrions placed a low bid for him. High talent, high inteeligence, talent 5 and sure tackler. Nice scouting! He just has to win the physics-gambling. I hope he isn't capped already. The RAPTORS asked me sonething I don't know. He said that somewhere it's written that an AC could only coach up to 20 players on his position.
Is this just the adult roster or youth academy included? |

Only the position-fixed seniors, and only partially true also: Your DL-AC can coach up to 20 players, yes, but e.g. your LB-AC can only coach up to 16 players. For TE, RB and FB it's even less. I have run across the Manta Rays during my Transfer Market fishing trips many times. They have figured out how cheap Weasels are for sure. As for the Centvrions, I hope there is meat on those bones. He could be a great player. |

SEA DEVILS MATCH OF THE WEEK
Vacation week in the SDMOTW picking crew. The Corsairs are playing in Michigan. Generations of sports journalists have written entire books about this rivalry, and yet there is still something untold. Today we're looking at arguably the quietest, yet most spectacular position in this sport: The punters. Only the absolute top receivers have more catches in a game. They come onto the turf when the mood is low and push the entire team when they put the ball on the opp 1. Only they can decide an entire game with a single play, something not even a QB can do. Murray Cameron is the punter of Vancouver. He's the son of the movie director James Cameron. He learned how to punt at the Royal Canadian Football Academy in Toronto and joined the slave hunters in the first round of the S54 draft. Due to his lack of talent, he only managed 43.5 punting points. He complements his 48.2 strength with the special trait "Strong Leg." In total, he has gained nearly 38,000 yards in 858 performances in 255 games for the Canadians, averaging 44.1 yards. Away from the stadium, he lives a quiet and secluded life with his wife and four children on a ranch just outside of town. Quite different is Gurman Darsha. The Weasels' punter was only picked in the second round of the S54 draft. Stabler discovered him in the Maldives, where he used his talent to punt coconuts to the next island. He's not seen as often as the Canadian punter, but when he is, it's spectacular. Of the 10 most-viewed clips on the Sea Devils streaming platform, four belong to him. Not surprisingly his talent is more amateur level. He seems to me to be trained as an all-around player, but not very well. But he, too, has accumulated over 35,000 yards in 848 punts (41.7 average). When he's not sitting on the bench, warming up his leg every third down, he's active on social media. His Instagram account has over 300 followers, which is quite a lot for a professional athlete in Northern Michigan. The Gaylord Herald Times ranks him 44th among the 100 most important Gaylordians in history. The Corsairs are ahead of the Weasels 2133 to 1875 in my one-off punter index. Unfortunately it won't help them. Amid the Americans' ridicule they will return home humiliated tonight. |
