It's the most haunting time of the year, where ghosts and great monsters come out to play...but on Halloween, this is a different story...
In the newly named Twin Renard Noir Stadium, the Packers come from St. Pauli, looking for a friendly match up on Halloween...the only thing was against the "Scary" Foxes, with Shane "Howl" Hoyle, Ben "Big Ben" Hitchens, Damien "Etherwitch" Etheridge, and their main protagonist....Chad "Thurminator" Thurman. Are you ready to see the scariest performance on turf? St Pauli @ Minnesota Uniforms: St Pauli: Regular, Minnesota: Jack O'Lantern Orange and Dark Black. Tomorrow on Halloween at 9am PST @ Twin Renard Noir Stadium Who will be the scariest team on turf? 🎃 (as i'm writing this,I haven't seen any other Sea Devil team vs Sea Devil team friendlies on Halloween, so i'm considering this the Sea Devils Match of Halloween.) St. Pauli Packers @ HAMBURG SEA LIONS "The Hamburger Championship" THE HAMBURG SEA LIONS HOST THE RIVALRY TODAY WITH ALOT AT STAKE. THE SEA LIONS NEED THIS ONE TO STAY IN THE DIVISION AS WELL AS THE WILDCARD RACE. St. Pauli comes in a bit more relaxed, with a sackload of Hamburger championships under their belt. They have always looked down on the "SEA KITTIES" and they know winning this game is essential to that world view. The Packers should hold on to the North no matter what happens today as they have a huge PD lead of 170 points, but that doesn't mean they wont take this game seriously. Things you may not know: The trophy, "The Big Mac" for the city championship is said to weigh over 40 lbs. The hardware store will refuse to sell you that shade of brown as seen in both teams colors. It is customary to say "would you like fries with that?" when meeting somebody from Hamburg. |
